5. சக்தி பேதம்

மாமாயை, மாயை, வயிந்தவம், வைகரி,

The six kinds of maya, namely mamayai, maya, vayindhavam, vaikari,

ஓமாயை, உள்ளொளி ஆகிய ஆறுவிதமான மாயையின் உச்ச நிலையில் உருவாகும் மந்திரங்கள் அனைத்தும்,

omayai and ulloli, the mantras that arise at their highest state,

திரிபுரை சக்தியின் வடிவமாக இருக்கின்றன.

are all forms of the power Tripurai.

இந்த வடிவங்களோடும் வடிவங்கள் இல்லாமலும் திரிபுரை இருக்கிறாள்.

Tripurai exists both with these forms and without any form.

பாடல் 1045 இல் உள்ளபடி, உருவமாகவும் உருவம் இல்லாததாகவும் இருக்கும் திரிபுரை சக்தி,

As in verse 1045, Tripurai, the power that exists both with form and without form,

சுந்தரி, அந்தரி, சிந்துப்பரிபுரை ஆகிய பெயர்களைக் கொண்ட தேவியராகவும்,

is the goddess bearing the names Sundari, Andari and Sinduparipurai,

நாரணி, மனோன்மனி ஆகிய பெயர்களைக் கொண்ட தேவியராகவும் இருந்து,

and also the goddess bearing the names Narani and Manonmani,

சக்தியளிக்கும் மாபெரும் சக்தியாக இருக்கிறாள்.

and stands as the great power that grants power.

திரிபுரை சக்தி, மூன்று புரங்களில் இருக்கும் தேவர்களுக்கும்

The power Tripurai, for the gods in the three cities,

அவரவர் தன்மைக்கேற்ற உருவங்களைக் கொண்ட தேவியர்களாகத் தாமாகவே அமைந்திருக்கிறாள்.

has herself become the goddesses, each with a form fitting the nature of its god.

இந்தச் சக்தியே பொன்நிறம் கொண்டவளாக இருந்து போகத்தையும், வெண்நிறம் கொண்டவளாக இருந்து ஞானத்தையும்,

This same power, in her golden hued form, grants pleasure; in her white hued form, grants knowledge;

செம்மையான கருமை நிறம் கொண்டவளாக இருந்து மாயையை அழித்து முக்தியையும் அருளும் சக்தியாக இருக்கிறாள்.

and in her form of ruddy black, grants liberation by destroying illusion.

பாடல் 1047 இல் உள்ளபடி, அருளுகின்ற திரிபுரை சக்தி ஒலியாகவும், அந்த ஒலியின் எல்லையாகவும் இருக்கிறாள்.

As in verse 1047, Tripurai, the power that grants, exists as sound and as the boundary of that sound.

திரிபுரையே உணரமுடியாத பேரொளியாகவும் இருந்து, உலகங்கள் அண்டசராசரங்கள் அனைத்திற்கும் பரவிப் பெருகுகிறாள்.

Tripurai herself, as a great radiance beyond perception, spreads and grows to fill all the worlds and the whole of creation.

இந்த ஒலியும் ஒளியுமான திரிபுரையே, அனைத்தையும் அருளுபவளாகவும், பேரழகு மிகுந்தவளாகவும், உணர்வுகளுக்கு அப்பாற்பட்டவளாகவும் இருந்து, அன்போடு ஞானத்தை அருளி ஆட்கொள்கிறாள்.

This Tripurai, who is thus sound and light, grants everything, is filled with great beauty, is beyond the senses, and lovingly grants wisdom and takes possession of her devotees.

பரை எனும் அசையும் சக்தியும், பேரழகு மிகுந்த அபிராமியும், ஐந்து கோசங்களுக்கும் அப்பாற்பட்ட அகோசரியும் ஆகிய இம்மூன்று சக்தி வடிவங்களுமே திரிபுரை என இப்பாடலின் கருத்து கூறுகிறது.

This verse's gist is that these three forms of power, Parai, the power that stirs, Abhirami, filled with great beauty, and Agosari, beyond the five sheaths, are all Tripurai.

அழகிய சிலம்பு அணிந்த திருவடிகளும், சிவந்த பட்டு அணிந்த உடலும்,

Beautiful anklet-adorned sacred feet, and a body clothed in red silk,

அழகிய கச்சை அணிந்த மார்பும், அம்பைப் போன்ற மலர்க்கொத்தும், வில்லைப் போன்ற கரும்பும் அணிந்த கரங்களும்,

a breast wearing a lovely girdle, and arms bearing a flower cluster like an arrow and a bow-like stalk of sugarcane,

அங்குசமும் பாசக் கயிறும் அணிந்த நான்கு கரங்களும், அழகிய நீண்ட கருமையான கூந்தலும்,

the four arms also bearing a goad and a noose cord, and long, beautiful dark hair,

பெரிய மணிகள் பதித்த குண்டலங்களை அணிந்த காதுகளும் கொண்ட உருவமாகத் திரிபுரை இருக்கிறாள்.

and ears wearing earrings set with large gems: in such a form Tripurai stands.

பெரிய மணிகள் பதித்த குண்டலங்களை அணிந்த காதுகளும், வில்லைப் போன்ற வளைந்த புருவங்களும்,

Wearing ears set with earrings of large gems, and eyebrows curved like a bow,

அரக்கு நிறத்தில் இருக்கும் திருமேனியும்,

a sacred form the colour of red lac,

சிவமணி மாலையை ஆரமாகவும், தலையில் ஒளிர்விடும் நிலவைக் கிரீடமாகவும் கொண்டு,

the necklace of sacred beads as her garland, and the radiant moon on her head as her crown,

சண்டிகை எனும் பெயருடன் நான்கு திசைகளையும் தாங்கி நிற்பவளே திரிபுரை சக்தி.

she who stands bearing all four directions under the name Sandigai is the power Tripurai.

பாடல் 1050 இல் உள்ளபடி, நான்கு திசைகளையும் தாங்கி நிற்கும் திரிபுரை சக்தி, ஆதியிலிருந்தே தொடர்ந்து இருக்கும் பராசக்தி ஆவாள். இவள் குறையில்லாத அழகுடன் அண்டசராசரங்கள் அனைத்தையும் வசப்படுத்தி வைத்திருப்பவள்;

As in verse 1050, Tripurai, who stands bearing all four directions, is the Supreme Power that has endured continuously since the beginning. She holds the whole of creation subject to her flawless beauty;

மிகவும் அழகாக அசைந்தாடும் தலைமுடியைக் கொண்டவள்;

she has hair that sways most beautifully;

நன்மையை வழங்கும் உருத்திராட்சத்தை அணிந்தவள். நான்கு கால்களுடன் கரிய உருவத்தைக் கொண்ட யானையை வாகனமாகக் கொண்டவள்.

she wears the beneficial rudraksha. She has as her mount an elephant with four legs and a dark form.

இவள் சுத்தமாக மலராமல் நெருங்கியிருக்கும் தாமரை இதழ்களைப் போலத் தூய்மையானவள்.

She is as pure as the tightly closed petals of a lotus that has not yet opened.

பாடல் #1051 இல் உள்ளபடி தூய்மையும் அனைத்து ஞானத்தின் மொத்த உருவமும் ஆகிய திரிபுரை சக்தி கருணையோடு பேரின்பத்தை அளிப்பவள்.

As in verse 1051, Tripurai Sakti, who is pure and is the whole form of all wisdom, grants supreme bliss with compassion.

அவளே அனைத்தையும் இயக்குகின்ற மெய்ப்பொருளாகிய உமா சக்தி என்னும் பெயருடைய மாபெரும் சக்தியாக இருக்கின்றாள்.

She is the great power named Uma Sakti, the true substance that sets everything in motion.

அத்தகைய மாபெரும் சக்தி அணுவுக்குள் அணுவைப் போல நுண்ணியதாகவும் இருக்கின்றாள்.

That great power is also as subtle as an atom within an atom.

இப்படி இருக்கும் இவளது திருக்கோலமே ஞானத்தின் முழு உருவமாகும்.

Her sacred form, being thus, is itself the whole form of wisdom.

அவளை அறியா அமரரும் இல்லை.

There are no immortals free of birth and death apart from Tripurai Sakti.

அவளன்றிச் செய்யும் அருந்தவம் இல்லை.

There is no austerity finer than austerity turned toward her.

அவளன்றி ஐவரால் ஆவதொன்று இல்லை.

Without her grace, the gods who carry out the five acts of creation, concealment, protection, granting and destruction can do nothing at all.

அவளன்றி ஊர்புகும் ஆறறி யேனே.

And I know of no other way to reach liberation without her.

ஞானத்தின் மொத்த உருவமாக இருக்கும் திரிபுரை சக்தியானவள் தமக்கு உண்மை ஞானத்தை வழங்க வல்லவள் என்று அறிந்தவர்கள், பராசக்தி என்னும் பெயருடைய அவளே பேரானந்தத்தின் உருவமாக இருப்பதை அறிவார்கள்.

Those who know that Tripurai Sakti, the whole form of wisdom, is able to grant them true knowledge, come to know that she, under the name Parasakti, is herself the form of supreme bliss.

உருவம் அருவம் அருவுருவம் ஆகிய அனைத்துமாக அவளே இருப்பதை அறிவார்கள். (உருவம் கண்ணால் காணக்கூடிய ரூபம், உதாரணம் சிவபெருமான்; அருவம் உணரக்கூடிய நுட்பமான தன்மை, உதாரணம் சக்தி; அருவுருவம் அந்த நுட்பத்தின் ரூப வடிவம், உதாரணம் சிவலிங்கம்.)

They know that she is form, the formless, and the form of the formless, all three together. (Form is the shape one can see, as with Shiva; the formless is the subtle nature one can only sense, as with Sakti; and the form of the formless is that subtlety taking a shape, as with the Shiva Linga.)

அனைத்தையும் தன் இச்சைப்படி ஆட்டி வைப்பதை அறிவார்கள்.

They know that she sets everything in motion according to her own will.

இறைவனின் சரிபாதியாக அவளே இருப்பதை அறிவார்கள்.

They know that she is the equal half of the Lord.

இறைவன் எங்கெங்கெல்லாம் இருக்கின்றானோ அங்கெங்கெல்லாம் மாபெரும் தேவியாகிய இறைவியும் இறைவனோடு பின்னிப் பிணைந்து இருக்கின்றாள்.

Wherever the Lord is present, there the great Goddess too is present, interwoven with him.

உலகத்தில் உடலாக இருக்கும் அசையும் மற்றும் அசையாத பொருள்கள் அனைத்திற்குள்ளும் உயிராக நின்று இறைவனும் இறைவியும் பாதுகாக்கின்றார்கள்.

Within all things in the world, both the moving and the unmoving, that stand as body, the Lord and Goddess together stand as the life within and give protection.

உலகத்தில் வெற்றிடமாக இருக்கும் அனைத்து இடங்களிலும் மென்மையான தென்றல் காற்றாக இறைவனும் இறைவியும் இருக்கின்றார்கள்.

In every empty space in the world they stand together as the gentle southern breeze.

அனைத்தையும் ஆளுகின்ற இறைவனும் இறைவியும் எங்கெங்கெல்லாம் எப்படியெல்லாம் இருக்கின்றார்கள் என்பதை பலவிதமான குறிப்புகளால் நீங்களே கண்டு கொள்ளுங்கள்.

Find out for yourselves, through many kinds of signs, where and how the Lord and Goddess, who rule over everything, are present.

பாடல் #1054 இல் உள்ளபடி ஞானத்தின் மொத்த வடிவாக இருக்கும் பராசக்தியானவள் மாபெரும் சக்தியாக, பலவகைகளிலும் உயிர்கள் செய்யும் அனைத்துச் செயல்களிலும் அந்தந்தச் செயலுக்கு ஏற்ற சக்தியாக நின்று அருளுகின்றாள்.

As in verse 1054, Parasakti, the whole form of wisdom, stands in her many aspects as great power, in every act that souls perform, present as the power fitted to that very act, and grants her grace.

பராசக்தியின் இந்தத் தன்மையை உயிர்கள் உணராமலே இருக்கின்றார்கள்.

Souls remain without realizing this nature of hers.

இந்தப் பராசக்தியே யுகம் யுகமாகத் தொடர்ந்து பிறவி எடுக்கும் ஆன்மாக்களுடன் உடனிருந்து பாதுகாக்கின்றாள்.

This same Parasakti stays constantly beside souls that take birth again and again through age after age, and protects them.

திரிபுரையாகிய இந்தப் பராசக்தியே உயிர்கள் செய்யும் செயல்களுக்கு ஏற்ற பலனை அருளி இன்பத்தை வழங்குகின்றாள்.

This Parasakti, who is Tripurai, is the one who grants souls the fruit fitted to the acts they perform and gives them their joy.

பாடல் #1056 இல் உள்ளபடி இன்பத்தை அனுபவிக்கின்ற உயிர்களின் செயல்களுக்கு ஏற்ப அவர்களுடன் சேர்ந்து பின்னிப் பிணைந்து இருக்கும் சடைமுடியைப் போல நிற்கின்றாள் பராசக்தி.

As in verse 1056, Parasakti stands intertwined with souls who enjoy pleasure, fitted to their acts, like the matted locks bound together with them.

இந்தப் பராசக்தியைத் தினந்தோறும் தியானித்துச் சாதகம் செய்யும் அடியவர்களுக்கு அவர்கள் செய்த சாதகத்தின் பலனாகக் கொடி போல வளர்கின்ற ஞானத்தைக் கொடுக்கிறாள்.

To devotees who meditate on this Parasakti every day and pursue their spiritual practice, she gives, as the fruit of that practice, wisdom that grows like a creeper.

அந்தக் கொடியில் சரிபாதியாக நின்று அதைத் தாங்கி வளர்க்கின்ற கொம்பாகவும் இருக்கின்றாள்.

And she herself stands as the equal half within that creeper, the very branch that supports and grows it.

இவ்வாறு பராசக்தி அடியவரின் சாதகத்தில் ஞானமாகவும் அதைத் தாங்கும் கொம்பாகவும் இருக்கின்றாள்.

In this way Parasakti is present in the devotee's practice both as the wisdom and as the branch that upholds it.

ஞானத்தைத் தாங்கி வளர்க்கின்ற கொம்பைப் போன்றவளும், முழுமையுடன் அழகாக விளங்கும் கொங்கைகளைக் கொண்டவளும்,

She who is like the branch that supports and grows wisdom, who has breasts that shine in complete beauty,

மணம் கமழ்கின்ற வாசனை மலர்களைத் தன் கூந்தலில் சூடிக்கொண்டு இருப்பவளும், தேவர்களும் விரும்பித் தேடுகின்றவளும்,

who wears fragrant flowers in her hair, whom even the gods long for and seek out,

பவளம் போன்ற சிகப்பான திருமேனியைக் கொண்ட சிறுமியாக இருப்பவளுமாகிய இந்தத் திரிபுரை சக்தி, இராஜராஜேஸ்வரி என்னும் திருநாமத்தைக் கொண்டு அருளுகின்றாள்.

and who is a young girl with a coral red sacred body, this Tripurai Sakti grants her grace under the name Rajarajeswari.

இறைவனோடு இரண்டறக் கலக்கும் ஞானத்தை அளிக்கக் கூடியவள் இந்தச் சக்தியே என்று நம்பி, எனது உள்ளத்திற்குள்ளே பணிவோடு வைத்திருக்கின்றேன்.

Trusting that it is this power alone who can grant the wisdom that merges inseparably with the Lord, I have placed her within my heart with reverence.

ஒவ்வொரு உயிரும் மாறி மாறி எடுக்கும் பலவிதமான பிறவிகளில் அவற்றுக்குள்ளே மறைத்து வைக்கப்பட்ட பொருளாக இருக்கின்ற இறைவனோடு சேர்ந்திருக்கின்ற திரிபுரை சக்தி பத்து முகங்களைக் கொண்டு காக்கின்றாள்.

In the many different births that each soul takes one after another, Tripurai Sakti, who stays joined with the Lord who is present within them as a substance concealed, protects them with ten faces.

தானாகச் செயல்படும் அனைத்துச் செயல்களுக்கும் காரணமாக அசையாச் சக்தியான சதாசிவமூர்த்தியும், அதைச் செயல்படுத்தும் கருவியாக அசையும் சக்தியான திரிபுரையும் இருக்கிறார்கள்.

There stands the unmoving power, Sadashiva Murthi, the cause of every act that unfolds by itself, and there stands the moving power, Tripurai, the instrument that carries out that act.

இந்தத் திரிபுரை சக்தியானவள் ஸ்ரீவித்யா என்னும் பெயருடன்

This same Tripurai Sakti, under the name Sri Vidya,

உலகத்திலுள்ள அனைத்திற்கும் அதனதன் செயல்களைச் செய்யும் ஞானத்தை அருளும் தலைவியாக இருக்கின்றாள்.

is the mistress who grants to everything in the world the wisdom to carry out each thing's own proper acts.

பாடல் #1059 இல் உள்ளபடி தலைவியாக இருக்கும் ஸ்ரீவித்யா தேவி அனைத்திற்கும் மேலான ஞானத்தின் உச்சியில் நின்று உலகத்தோடு கலந்து, அனைத்து உயிர்களுக்கும் அவரவர் செயல்களுக்கு ஏற்ற சரிசமமான அறிவைக் கொடுக்கும் ஞானப் பாலை அருளுகின்றாள்.

As in verse 1059, Sri Vidya Devi, the mistress, stands at the very peak of wisdom that is above all else, merges with the world, and grants the milk of wisdom that gives every soul knowledge equal and fitted to its own acts.

இந்தச் சக்தியானவள் என்றும் மாறாதவளாக, அனைத்துச் செயல்களையும் செய்வதற்குத் தேவையான ஞானத்தை அருளி, அதில் வெற்றியும் பெற்று இருக்கின்றாள்.

This power, unchanging forever, grants the wisdom needed for every act and has attained success in it.

திரிபுரை சக்தியாக இருக்கும் இந்த ஸ்ரீவித்யா தேவியை எனது உள்ளத்திற்குள்ளே வைத்து நிலைநிறுத்தியதால்,

Because I have set this Sri Vidya Devi, who is Tripurai Sakti, firmly within my heart,

அவள் எனக்குள் முழுவதும் நிறைந்து நிற்கின்றாள்.

she now stands completely filling me within.

எனக்குள் நிறைந்து நின்ற திரிபுரை சக்தி, தான் செய்யும் செயல்களுக்கு ஏற்ற அணிகலன்களை அணிந்து கொண்டு,

Tripurai Sakti, who stands filling me within, wears the ornaments fitted to the acts she carries out,

அனைத்துச் செயல்களோடும் கலந்து எனது உள்ளத்தில் பதிந்திருக்கின்றாள்; ஏழு உலகத்திலும் அவளை உணர்ந்தவர்கள் வந்து தொழுகின்றார்கள்.

and stays merged with every act, set within my heart, as those who have realized her come from all seven worlds to worship.

எனது மனமாகிய அம்பலத்தில் ஆடுகின்ற இறைவனோடு ஒன்றி, மனோன்மணி என்னும் பெயருடன் தான் செய்கின்ற அனைத்துச் செயல்களையும் மங்கலமாக்குகின்றாள்.

She joins with the Lord who dances in the ambalam that is my mind, and under the name Manonmani makes auspicious every act she performs.

சிவம் வேறு, அவள் வேறு என்று வேறுபடாமல் ஒன்றோடு ஒன்றாக ஒன்றி நின்று, பிரியாமல் எனது உள்ளத்துள் ஒன்றாக அடைந்திருக்கின்றாள்.

Never differing as though Shiva were one and she another, she stands joined as one with him, and dwells inseparably, as one, within my heart.

எமது உள்ளத்திற்குள் ஒன்றாக அடைந்திருக்கும் மனோன்மணி சக்தியானவள், தான் செய்யும் செயல்களுக்கு ஏற்ற அணிகலன்களை அணிந்து கொண்டிருக்கின்றாள்.

As in verse 1061, Manonmani, the power who dwells joined as one within our hearts, wears the ornaments fitted to the acts she carries out.

முடிவில்லாமல் அனைத்துச் செயல்களையும் அவள் செய்து கொண்டே இருக்கின்றாள்.

She goes on performing every act without end.

அவள் செய்யும் அனைத்துச் செயல்களுக்கும் காரணமாக இருக்கும் மிகப்பெரும் தலைவனாகிய இறைவனோடு சேர்ந்து எப்போதும் தாண்டவம் ஆடிக்கொண்டே இருக்கும் மனோன்மணியானவள், தான் செய்கின்ற அனைத்துச் செயல்களையும் மங்கலமாக்குகின்றாள்.

Manonmani, who thus stays forever dancing the cosmic dance joined with the Lord, the great master who is the cause of every act she does, makes auspicious every act she performs.

இவளைத் தமது சிந்தனைக்குள் எப்போதும் வைத்திருக்கும் வழியை ஆராய்ந்து அறிந்து கொள்ளாமலே உயிர்கள் இருக்கின்றார்கள்.

Yet souls remain without inquiring into and coming to know the way to keep her always within their own thought.

மனோன்மணி சக்தியைத் தமது சிந்தனைக்குள் எப்போதும் வைத்திருக்கும் வழியை ஆராய்ந்து உணர்ந்து கொண்டவர்கள் அவ்வழியிலேயே சாதகம் செய்யும்போது, இறைவன் அவர்களுக்கு உள்ளிருந்து ஒளியாக வெளிப்படுவான்.

When those who have inquired into and understood the way to keep Manonmani Sakti always within their thought take up spiritual practice along that very way, the Lord will reveal himself to them from within as light.

அந்த இறைவனோடு, நறுமணம் கமழும் மலர்களைத் தன் கூந்தலில் அணிந்திருக்கும் இறைவியும் வெளிப்படுவாள்,

Along with that Lord, the Goddess, who wears fragrant flowers in her hair, will also reveal herself,

அவனோடு ஒன்றாகக் கலந்தவளாய்.

merged with him as one.

அப்படி வெளிப்பட்ட திரிபுரை சக்தி, தான் காட்டும் வழியில் அன்போடு செல்பவர்களுக்கு நற்கதியை அருளுவாள்.

And Tripurai Sakti, thus revealed, will grant a good end to those who walk with love along the path she shows.

திரிபுரை சக்தியான இறைவி பேரானந்தத்தின் வடிவமாகப் பேரழகுடன் விளங்கும் இளம் பெண்ணாக இருக்கின்றாள்.

The Goddess who is Tripurai Sakti is herself the form of supreme bliss, a young girl of great beauty.

புளியம் பழத்தின் மேல்பகுதி கடினமாக இருந்தாலும் அதனுள் இருக்கும் பழுத்த பழம் மென்மையாகவும் ஓடுடன் ஒட்டாமலும் இருப்பது போல, அவள் எமது உள்ளத்திற்குள் பார்த்து,

Just as the outer skin of the tamarind fruit is hard while the ripened fruit within it is soft and does not cling to the shell, she looked within our hearts,

எம்மைத் தெளிய வைத்து, எமக்குள் ஒளியாக இருக்கும் இறைவனின் சிவகதியைக் காட்டி,

made us clear, and showed us the Lord's Sivagati, the light present within us,

எம்மை மேன்மை அடைய வைத்துத் தன்னுள்ளே அடக்கிக் கொண்டாள்.

raised us to that higher state, and drew us wholly into herself.

உருவம் உண்டு என்று சொல்பவர்களுக்கு அவள் உருவமாக இருக்கிறாள்; உருவம் இல்லை என்று சொல்பவர்களுக்கு அவள் அருவமாக இருக்கிறாள்; தன்னைத் தியானித்தவர்களுக்கு அவர்கள் தியானித்த உருவமாகவே அவள் காட்சி கொடுக்கின்றாள்.

To those who say she has form, she is form; to those who say she has no form, she is the formless; and to those who meditate on her, she shows herself in the very form they meditate upon.

வளமான தில்லை அம்பலத்தினுள் அவள் எங்கும் நிறைந்து நிலைபெற்று இருக்கின்றாள்.

She fills and abides everywhere within the assembly hall at rich Thillai.

காரணமாகிய இறைவனும் காரியமாகிய இறைவியும் ஒன்றாகச் சேர்ந்து அங்கே அருவுருவமாக ஆடுகின்றார்கள்; உணராதவர்கள் அதைக் காண்பதில்லை.

The Lord who is the cause and the Goddess who carries it out, joined together as one, dance there as the form of the formless, unseen by those who do not realize them.

உலகத்திலுள்ள அனைத்து உயிர்களும் உய்ய வேண்டும் என்பதற்காகச் சூரிய, சந்திர, அக்னி ஆகிய மூன்று மண்டலங்களிலும் நிறைந்து நிலைபெற்று நிற்கின்றாள்.

For all souls in the world to attain their good, she fills and stands abiding in all three spheres, the sun, the moon and the fire.

அவள் இறைவனோடு ஒன்றாகச் சேர்ந்து அவனுடைய உடலாகவும் உயிராகவும் நின்றாள்.

She stood present as his body and as his life,

சிவகதியைச் சேர்விக்கின்ற பராசக்தியாகச் சென்றாள்.

and went as Parasakti, the one who leads to and joins Sivagati.

எமக்குள் ஒன்றாகப் புகுந்து எமது உணர்வாகவே ஆனாள்.

She entered into me as one, becoming my very awareness,

பரஞ்சுடராகவும், ஏடு ஏந்திய கையை உடையவளாகவும், அதாவது எழுதப்பட்ட சொல்லப்பட்ட அனைத்து வார்த்தைகளாகவும் நின்றாள்.

and stood there as the supreme light, she who holds the palm leaf, present as every word that has ever been written or spoken.

ஏடு ஏந்திய கையை உடைய நங்கையாகிய எங்கள் இறைவி மூன்று கண்களை உடையவள்.

She who holds the palm leaf, our lady, our Goddess, has three eyes.

உருவமில்லாத அவளே படிகம் போன்ற ஊடுருவிப் பார்க்கும் திருமேனியை விரும்பி, வெள்ளைத் தாமரையையும் விரும்புகின்றாள்.

She, who is without form, delights in a sacred body like crystal that sees through everything, and loves the white lotus.

எப்போதும் திருமுறைகளைப் பாடுகின்ற, பிரம்மனின் தேவியாகிய பார்ப்பனியாக இருக்கின்றாள்; அவளுடைய திருப்பாதங்களைத் தரிசித்து,

She is Brahmani, who forever chants the sacred verses as the consort of Brahma; we behold her feet,

எமது தலைமேல் தாங்கி, அவளின் தோத்திரங்களை எமது வாய் எப்போதும் சொல்லிக் கொண்டே இருக்கின்றது.

carry them upon our heads, and our mouths never cease speaking her praises.

தோத்திரங்களைச் சொல்லி யாம் அவளைத் தொழுகின்றோம்; அவளுடைய திருவடிகளே எமக்குத் துணையாக நிற்கின்றன.

We chant her praises and worship her, and her sacred feet stand as our support.

அவளைத் தகுந்தபடி ஏத்தி வழிபடுகின்ற அனைவருக்கும் திரிபுரை துணையாக இருக்கின்றாள்.

To all who praise her fittingly and worship her, Tripurai is present as their support.

அவள் தனது திருக்கரங்களில் வில்லைப் போன்ற கரும்பையும், இரும்பாலான அங்குசத்தையும், பாசக் கயிற்றையும் வைத்திருக்கின்றாள்.

She holds in her hands the sugar cane bow, the iron goad, and the noose,

மென்மையான திருமேனியைக் கொண்ட, பேரழகுடைய இளம் பெண்ணாகிய ஆதிசக்தியாகவும் இருக்கின்றாள்.

and is the primal power, the young girl of great beauty, with a form of great gentleness.

ஆதியாக இருக்கும் திரிபுரை சக்தி, பல விதங்களில் நிறைந்திருக்கும் அண்டத்திலுள்ள அனைத்தையும் காத்து அருளுகின்ற திருமாலின் தங்கை என்று அழைக்கப்படுகின்ற பார்வதி தேவியாக இருக்கின்றாள்.

Tripurai Sakti, who is primal, present in all its many ways throughout the universe, granting protection to everything it holds, is Parvati, the younger sister of Vishnu,

அடியவர்களின் மனசாட்சியாக இருக்கும் நெஞ்சத் தாமரையில் அவள் அமர்ந்திருக்கின்றாள்.

and she sits within the lotus of the heart, the conscience of devotees.

அவளின் திருநாம மந்திரத்தை அந்தத் தாமரைக்கு நடுவில் மானசீகமாக வைத்து, அந்த மந்திரத்தைச் செபித்து வரும் அடியவர்களுக்கு,

Devotees who mentally place her sacred name mantra in the centre of that lotus and continue reciting that mantra

உள்ளொளி பெருகி, இறந்த காலம், நிகழ் காலம், எதிர் காலம் ஆகிய முக்கால ஞானமும் கிடைத்துவிடும்.

will find their inner light grow, and will be granted knowledge of the three times, past, present and future.

உடலை இயக்குகின்ற மேதை முதலான பதினாறு கலைகளாக இருந்து அனைத்தையும் இயக்குகின்ற மென்மையான இயல்பைக் கொண்டவளும்,

She who exists as the sixteen kalais, beginning with Meythai, that drive the body, and who has the gentle nature that sets everything in motion,

வேதங்கள் கூறுகின்ற பராபரை என்பவளுமே திரிபுரை சக்தியாகும்.

the Parapara spoken of by the Vedas, is Tripurai Sakti herself.

அவளே அனைத்திற்கும் ஆதாரமாக இருந்து எங்கும் பரந்து வியாபித்திருப்பவள்.

She is the foundation of everything, spread and pervading everywhere.

அவளே நாதத்தின் முதலாகிய இறைவனுடன் சேர்ந்து நல்லருளைத் தருகின்றாள்.

And she it is who joins with the Lord, the origin of Nada, to grant good grace.

அருள் பெற்று உணர்ந்தவர்கள் அதை எடுத்துச் சொல்லும்போது, மனிதர்களே, வாருங்கள், கேளுங்கள்.

When those who have received grace speak of it, come, you people, and listen.

கேட்டதை உணர்ந்து, உண்மைப் பொருளைத் தன் சிந்தையில் கொண்ட, உலகங்கள் அனைத்திற்கும் தலைவனாகிய இறைவனிடம் திரும்புங்கள்.

Having grasped what you have heard, turn to the master of all the worlds, whose mind holds the true substance,

மாயையில் மயங்கி இருக்கும் உங்களுடைய சிந்தனையை மாற்றி, அரிய

and change your thinking, which is deluded and clouded, to take hold of the precious

உண்மைப் பொருளைப் பற்றிக் கொண்டு, அவனது திருவடிகளையே போற்றி வணங்கும் என்னோடு சேர்ந்து போற்றி வணங்குங்கள்.

true substance; join with me, who worships and praises only his sacred feet, and worship and praise them together with me.

அவள் பன்றியின் முகத்தோடும் அதற்கேற்ற திருவடிகளோடும், வராஹி என்னும் பெயர் கொண்டு வருகின்றாள்.

She comes with the face of a boar and feet fitted to it, under the name Varahi.

கீழ்மையான எண்ணத்தை இடித்து மாற்றுகின்ற இரும்பு உலக்கையை அவள் ஏந்தியிருக்கின்றாள்.

She holds the iron pestle that crushes and changes base thought,

அதனோடு, அந்த எண்ணத்தைச் சீர்படுத்த உழுகின்ற ஏர் கலப்பையையும், மனதை ஒருநிலைப்படுத்துகின்ற வெண்மையான சங்கையும் ஏந்தியிருக்கின்றாள்.

together with the plough that tills and sets that thought in order, and the white conch that steadies the mind into one-pointedness,

அவளின் உருவத்தைக் கடந்து உருவமற்ற திரிபுரை சக்தியை உணர்ந்தவர்களின் உள்ளத்தில் அவள் ஓங்கி நிற்கின்றாள்.

and in the hearts of those who go beyond her form and realize the formless Tripurai Sakti, she stands towering.

ஓங்காரி என்று அழைக்கப்படுகின்ற அவள் ஒரு பெண் பிள்ளையாக இருக்கின்றாள்.

She is called Ongari, and she herself is a young female child.

என்றுமே நீங்காத பச்சை நிறத்தை உடையவள்.

She has a green colour that never leaves her.

அனைத்திலும் மேலானவளாக நின்று, பிரம்மன், விஷ்ணு, உருத்திரன், மகேஸ்வரன், சதாசிவன் ஆகிய ஐந்து தேவர்களைப் படைக்கின்றாள்.

Standing above all things, she creates the five gods, Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra, Maheshwara and Sadashiva,

ரீங்காரத்திற்குள்ளே, அவர்களின் செயல்களாகவே எப்போதும் இனிமையுடன் இருக்கின்றாள்.

and is always present, with sweetness, within the reengaram, as their very acts.

தானாகவே அனைத்திற்கும் தலைவியாக நின்ற தற்பரையாகிய அவள்,

The supreme power who stands as mistress of herself, of her own accord,

பதினான்கு உலகங்களையும் தானே படைத்து அவற்றிற்கு உயிரூட்டினாள்.

is the one who herself created and gave life to the fourteen worlds.

அவளே தேவர்களின் உலகமாகவும், உயிர்களின் மனமாகவும், நல்ல புத்தியாகவும் இருக்கின்றாள்.

She herself is the world of the gods, the mind of souls, and good understanding.

அடியவர்கள் சென்று அடையும் சிவகதியாகவும் அவளே இருக்கின்றாள்.

And she herself is Sivagati, the goal that devotees go forth and reach.
