11. சாம்பவி மண்டலச் சக்கரம்

சாம்பவி எனப்படும், சிவமும் சக்தியும் ஒன்றாக வீற்றிருக்கும் சிவலிங்க அமைப்பில் அமையும் சக்கரத்தைப் பற்றிச் சொல்லப்போனால் என்று பாடல் தொடங்குகிறது.

The verse opens by speaking of the chakra formed in the shivalinga structure in which Shiva and Shakti, called Sambhavi, dwell together.

இதை எட்டு நிலைகளைக் கொண்ட சக்கரமாக அமைக்க வேண்டும் என்று பாடல் கூறுகிறது.

The verse declares that this should be set out as a chakra with eight stages.

அதற்குள் இருக்கும் நான்கு தத்துவங்களையும் மானசீகமாகத் தமக்குள்ளேயே வரைந்து உணர்ந்து தரிசிக்க வேண்டும் என்று பாடல் உரைக்கிறது.

The verse states that one should mentally draw, realize and behold within oneself the four tattvas held within it.

இப்படிச் செய்த சாதகர்கள் சிவலிங்க அமைப்பில் இருக்கும் சாம்பவி மண்டலச் சக்கரத்தை அறிந்துகொள்ள முடியும் என்று பாடல் கூறுகிறது.

The verse declares that sadhakas who do this can come to know the Sambhavi mandala chakra present in the shivalinga structure.

பாடல் #1297 இல் உள்ளபடி, சிவலிங்க அமைப்பில் இருக்கும் சக்கரமாக அறியப்பட்ட சாம்பவி மண்டலத்தை உடலுக்குள் அமைக்க வேண்டும் என்று பாடல் கூறுகிறது.

As in verse #1297, the verse declares that the Sambhavi mandala, known as the chakra present in the shivalinga structure, should be set within the body.

அதை சக்தி பாயும் வழிகளாகக் கொண்டு, இடமும் வலமுமாக இரு பாகங்களாகப் பிரிக்க வேண்டும் என்று பாடல் உரைக்கிறது.

It should be set as channels for the flow of shakti, divided into left and right halves, the verse states.

நடுவில் சிவலிங்கமும் ஓம் மந்திரமும் அமைக்க வேண்டும் என்று பாடல் கூறுகிறது.

A shivalingam and the Om mantra should be placed at the center, the verse declares.

மனதில் இறைவனைத் தவிர வேறெதுவும் இல்லாமல் இருபக்கமும் தியானிக்க வேண்டும் என்று பாடல் உரைக்கிறது.

One should meditate on both sides with the mind on nothing but God, the verse states.

பாடல் #1298 இல் உள்ளபடி, இடமும் வலமுமாகப் பிரிந்திருக்கும் பகுதிகளைச் சேர்த்திருக்கும் சாம்பவி மண்டலச் சக்கரத்தில் நான்கு திசைகள் இருக்கின்றன என்று பாடல் கூறுகிறது.

As in verse #1298, the verse declares that the Sambhavi mandala chakra, formed by joining the divided left and right portions, has four directions.

அந்த நான்கு திசைகளிலுமுள்ள மூலைகள் ஒவ்வொன்றிலும் நான்கு நான்கு இலிங்கங்களை அமைக்க வேண்டும் என்று பாடல் உரைக்கிறது.

The verse states that four lingams should be set at each of the corners in these four directions.

ஒவ்வொரு மூலையிலும் அமைந்திருக்கும் நான்கு இலிங்கங்களுக்கு நடுவிலும் சாதகர்கள் தங்கள் மனதை வைத்து, இறைவனைத் தவிர வேறெந்தச் சிந்தனையும் இல்லாமல் தியானிக்க வேண்டும் என்று பாடல் கூறுகிறது.

It declares that sadhakas should fix their minds at the center of the four lingams standing at each corner and meditate with no thought other than God.

இப்படிச் செய்தால் இறைவனும் அவர்களின் எண்ணங்களுக்கேற்ப வந்து சக்கரத்தின் நடுவில் வீற்றிருப்பான் என்று பாடல் உரைக்கிறது.

If they do this, the verse states, God will come, according to their thoughts, and dwell at the center of the chakra.

ஆதிகாலத் தமிழில் இருக்கும் ஐம்பத்தொரு எழுத்துகளும் உண்மை ஞானத்தைக் கொடுப்பவை என்று பாடல் கூறுகிறது.

The verse declares that the fifty-one letters present in ancient Tamil are the letters that give true knowledge.

இவை வெவ்வேறு உருவங்களில் நுட்பமாகச் சாம்பவி மண்டலச் சக்கரத்தில் வளர்ச்சி பெற்றுப் பரவிக் கிடக்கின்றன என்று பாடல் உரைக்கிறது.

In their varied forms, they subtly grow and lie spread through the Sambhavi mandala chakra, the verse states.

இவற்றின் உண்மைப் பொருளை ஆராய்ந்துணர்ந்து, தமக்குள் 'சிவாய நம' எனும் மந்திரத்தை இடையறாது சொல்லிக்கொண்டிருக்க வேண்டும் என்று பாடல் கூறுகிறது.

The verse declares that one should inquire into and realize their true meaning, and keep uttering the mantra "sivaya nama" within oneself without a break.

இப்படிச் செய்பவர்களுக்கு எந்தவிதக் குறையும் இராது என்று பாடல் உரைக்கிறது.

Those who do this, the verse states, will be without any want.

பாடல் #1300 இல் உள்ளபடி, எவ்விதக் குறையும் இல்லாத நிலையை அடைந்த சாதகர்களுக்கு, மேன்மையான சாம்பவி மண்டலச் சக்கரத்திற்கேற்ப ஞானமும் அருளும் எப்போதும் குறைவின்றி இருக்கும் என்று பாடல் கூறுகிறது.

As in verse #1300, the verse declares that sadhakas who have reached the state without any want will always have wisdom and grace without fail, fitting the greatness of the Sambhavi mandala chakra.

ஒலிக்கும் சிலம்பணிந்த இறைவனின் திருவடிகளும் சாதகர்களைவிட்டு எப்போதும் பிரியாமல் அவர்களுடனேயே இருக்கும் என்று பாடல் உரைக்கிறது.

The verse states that the sacred feet of God, wearing anklets that sound, will always stay with sadhakas and never part from them.

வேதங்கள் சிறப்பித்துக் கூறும் உண்மை ஞானமாகவே இருக்கும் ஐம்பத்தொரு எழுத்துகளையும் முழுவதுமாக அறிந்துணர்ந்தவர்களுக்கு இறப்பு என்பதே இல்லை என்று இந்த நிலையை அடைந்தவர்கள் உறுதியாகக் கூறுவார்கள் என்று பாடல் கூறுகிறது.

The verse declares that those who have reached this state will affirm with certainty that there is no death for those who have fully known and realized the fifty-one letters that the Vedas praise as true knowledge.

இதைச் சாதகர்களும் முழுவதுமாக உணர்ந்து காணவேண்டும் என்று பாடல் உரைக்கிறது.

The verse states that sadhakas too must fully realize and behold this for themselves.

பாடல் #1301 இல் உள்ளபடி, சாதகர்கள் தமக்குள் கண்டுணர்ந்த பேருண்மையான பரம்பொருளே, அவர்களின் எண்ணத்திற்கேற்ற வடிவங்களைக் கொண்ட தெய்வமாக அவர்களுக்குள் வீற்றிருக்கிறார் என்று பாடல் கூறுகிறது.

As in verse #1301, the verse declares that the great truth, the Supreme Being, which sadhakas have beheld and realized within themselves, dwells within them as a deity taking forms to fit their thought.

தமது உடலுக்குள் பரம்பொருளே தெய்வமாக வீற்றிருப்பதால், சாதகர்கள் முறையாகப் பேணிக் காக்கும் உடலும், அதனால் ஊற்றெடுத்துப் பெருகும் அமிழ்தமும் கிடைக்கும் என்று பாடல் உரைக்கிறது.

Because the Supreme Being itself dwells as deity within their body, the verse states, they gain the body which they duly cherish and guard, and the nectar that consequently wells up and swells within them.

சாதகர்களின் ஆன்மா நுகரும் இன்பமும், அதனால் கிடைக்கும் பேரின்ப உணர்வும், அந்த உணர்விலேயே இலயித்திருக்கும் நிலையும் கிடைக்கும் என்று பாடல் கூறுகிறது.

The verse declares that the bliss their soul savors, the feeling of supreme joy that thereby comes, and the state of remaining absorbed in that very feeling, are also gained.

இந்த நிலையை அடைந்தபின் அவர்கள் காணும்படித் தானாகவே பொன் போல மாறும் உடலும் இவை அனைத்தும் சாம்பவி மண்டலச் சக்கரத்தின் செயலாக இருக்கும் இறை சக்தியின் அருளால் கிடைக்கும் பேறுகள் என்று பாடல் உரைக்கிறது.

The verse states that the body that, once this state is reached, itself turns golden before their own eyes, along with all these, are boons granted by the grace of the divine power at work as the Sambhavi mandala chakra.

பாடல் #1302 இல் உள்ளபடி, சாம்பவி மண்டலச் சக்கரத்தின் செயலாக இருக்கும் சக்தியின் அருள்பெற்ற சாதகர்களுக்கு, பாடல் #1300 இல் உள்ளபடி இடையறாது உச்சரிக்கும் 'சிவாய நம' எனும் மந்திரத்தில் உள்ள ஐந்து எழுத்துகளே, இறைவனை நோக்கி சாதகரின் எண்ணங்களை எடுத்துச் செல்லும் வழியாக இருக்கின்றன என்று பாடல் கூறுகிறது.

As in verse #1302, the verse declares that for sadhakas who have received the grace of the power at work as the Sambhavi mandala chakra, the five letters within the mantra "sivaya nama" that is chanted without a break, as in verse #1300, are themselves the path along which the sadhaka's thoughts are carried toward God.

சாதகர்கள் தங்கள் எண்ணங்களைச் சிந்தனை போகும் போக்கில் விட்டுவிடாமல், சிவாயநம என்னும் எழுத்துகள் வழியாக இறைவனை நோக்கியே செலுத்திக்கொண்டிருக்க வேண்டும் என்று பாடல் உரைக்கிறது.

The verse states that sadhakas should not let their thoughts go the way thought wanders, but should keep directing them toward God through the letters of sivaya nama.

இப்படிச் செய்தால் சாதகர்கள் நினைக்கும் அனைத்தையும் செயலாக்க முடியும் என்றும், அதன்பிறகு உலகில் உள்ள எந்தப் பற்றுகளும் சாதகர்களுக்கு இல்லாமல் போய்விடும் என்றும் பாடல் கூறுகிறது.

If they do this, the verse declares, they can bring about whatever they think of, and thereafter they will be left with no attachments at all in this world.

கருத்து: சாதகர் தனக்குள் தோன்றும் எண்ணத்தின் வழியே செல்லாமல், தான் இடையறாது உச்சரிக்கும் சிவாயநம மந்திரத்துடன் தன் எண்ணங்களைச் செலுத்தினால், இந்த உலகில் சாதகர் நினைக்கும் அனைத்தையும் அவரால் செயலாக்க முடியும் என்று பாடல் கூறுகிறது.

Its gist: if the sadhaka, instead of following the course of the thought that arises within him, directs his thoughts along with the sivaya nama mantra he utters without a break, he can bring about, in this world, everything the sadhaka thinks of.

பாடல் #1303 இல் கூறியவாறு, உலகில் உள்ள எந்தப் பற்றுதலும் சாதகர்களுக்கு இல்லாமல் போய்விடும்.

As verse 1303 says, every attachment in the world falls away from the practitioner.

இறைவனை வணங்கித் தொழுகின்ற சாதகருக்கு, அவரைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்கும் உலகத்தால் நன்மையோ தீமையோ எதுவும் நேராது; எல்லா நாட்களும் அவருக்கு நன்மையான நாட்களாகவே இருக்கும்.

For a devotee who worships and bows before God, nothing in the world around him brings either good or harm; every day becomes a good day for him.

நல்வினை தீவினை என்று எதுவும் அவருக்கு இல்லாமல் போய்விடும்; இனி எப்போதும் புதிதாக வினைகள் வந்து சேராது.

Good deeds and bad deeds alike cease to touch him, and no new deeds ever come to attach themselves to him again.

தமது சாதகத்திற்குத் தடையேதும் இல்லாமல், தாமும் தடையின்றி, உலக நன்மைக்காகச் சுழற்சியாகத் தொடர்ந்து செயலாற்றிக் கொண்டே இருக்கும் நிலையை அவர் அடைந்துவிடுவார்.

With no hindrance to his practice, and nothing hindering himself, he reaches a state where he goes on acting, in an unbroken cycle, for the good of the world.

சாம்பவி மண்டலச் சக்கரத்தில் இருக்கும் மந்திரமாகிய 'சிவாய நம' என்னும் ஐந்து எழுத்துக்களை யாரும் மனத்துள் ஓதலாம்.

Anyone may repeat within the mind the mantra of the Sambhavi Mandala Chakra, the five letters "Sivaya Nama".

அதை முறைப்படி ஓதிச் சாதகம் செய்பவர்களுக்கு, யாராலும் எளிதில் அறிய முடியாத பேரின்ப உருவமாக இருக்கும் சாம்பவி மண்டலச் சக்கரம் புலப்படும்.

For those who repeat it in the proper manner and practise it as sadhana, the Sambhavi Mandala Chakra, a form of supreme bliss not easily known by anyone, becomes apparent.

அதை அறிந்துகொண்ட சாதகர்களுக்கு, உலகமாகவும், ஆகாயமாகவும், சூரியனாகவும், சந்திரனாகவும் அந்தச் சாம்பவி மண்டலச் சக்கரத்தின் பேரின்ப உருவமே இருக்கின்றது.

For the practitioners who come to know it, that very form of supreme bliss belonging to the Sambhavi Mandala Chakra is what stands as the world, as the sky, as the sun and as the moon.

பாடல் #1302 இல் கூறியவாறு, அதுவே பொன் போன்ற உடலாகவும், உயிராகவும், உணர்வாகவும் இருக்கின்றது.

As verse 1302 says, that same form is the golden body, the life and the awareness itself.

பாடல் #1305 இல் கூறியவாறு, சாதகர் தமக்குள் சாம்பவி மண்டலச் சக்கரத்தைப் பேரின்ப உருவமாக உணரும்போது, அவருக்குள்ளிருந்து எழுகின்ற மந்திரம் ஓம் என்னும் ஓங்காரத்தின் ஓரெழுத்திலேயே அடங்கிவிடும்.

As verse 1305 says, when the practitioner senses within himself the Sambhavi Mandala Chakra as a form of supreme bliss, the mantra rising from within him becomes contained in the single letter of the Omkara, the sound "Om".

அப்போது சாதகரோடு சேர்ந்து எழுகின்ற அந்த ஓங்காரமே சாதகர் சென்றடையும் கதியாகிய மோட்சமாகவும், அவர் தொடங்கிய ஆதி மூலமாகவும் இருக்கின்றது.

That very Omkara, rising along with the practitioner, then becomes both the liberation which is the destination he goes on to reach, and the primal source from which he began.

இதை சாதகர் முழுவதுமாக உணரும்போது, மாயையால் மறைந்து விளையாடிக்கொண்டிருந்த இறைவனும் இறைவியும் மாயை நீங்கி வெளிப்பட்டு, சாதகரோடு ஒன்றாகக் கலந்து சாம்பவி மண்டலச் சக்கரத்தின் பேரின்ப வடிவமாகவே இருப்பார்கள்.

When the practitioner comes to sense this fully, the Lord and the Goddess, who until then had been playing hidden within him through maya, come forth free of maya and, joined together with the practitioner as one, become the very form of supreme bliss of the Sambhavi Mandala Chakra.

அதன்பின் சாதகரும் அந்தப் பேரின்பத்திலேயே இறைவனோடும் இறைவியோடும் என்றும் இலயித்திருப்பார். (கருத்து: மந்திரத்தின் ஐந்து எழுத்துக்களும் ஓரெழுத்தாக எழும்போது, சாதகரே சாம்பவி மண்டலச் சக்கரமாகி, அதிலுள்ள இறைவனோடும் இறைவியோடும் கலந்து இலயித்திருப்பார்.)

Thereafter the practitioner too remains forever absorbed in that same supreme bliss, together with the Lord and the Goddess. (Karuthu: when the mantra's five letters rise up as the single letter, the practitioner himself becomes the Sambhavi Mandala Chakra, joined with the Lord and the Goddess who dwell within it, and remains absorbed there.)
