ஆதிகாலத் தமிழில் இருக்கும் ஐம்பத்தொரு எழுத்துகளும் உண்மை ஞானத்தைக் கொடுப்பவை என்று பாடல் கூறுகிறது. இவை வெவ்வேறு உருவங்களில் நுட்பமாகச் சாம்பவி மண்டலச் சக்கரத்தில் வளர்ச்சி பெற்றுப் பரவிக் கிடக்கின்றன. இவற்றின் உண்மைப் பொருளை ஆராய்ந்துணர்ந்து, தமக்குள் 'சிவாய நம' எனும் மந்திரத்தை இடையறாது சொல்லிக்கொண்டிருப்பவர்களுக்கு எந்தவிதக் குறையும் இராது என்று பாடல் உரைக்கிறது.
The verse declares that the fifty-one letters present in ancient Tamil are the letters that give true knowledge. In their varied forms, they subtly grow and lie spread through the Sambhavi mandala chakra. It states that those who inquire into and realize their true meaning, and who keep uttering the mantra "sivaya nama" within themselves without a break, will be without any want.
