எவராலும் அறிய முடியாத அளவிற்குப் பெருமைகளை உடையவன் எங்கள் அண்ணல்.

Our Lord carries a greatness beyond anyone's ability to know.

எவராலும் அவனின் உயரத்தையும் அகலத்தையும் அறிய முடியாத அளவிற்கு அளவிடமுடியாதவன் அவன்.

He is beyond measure, so that no one can grasp his height or breadth.

எவராலும் அறிந்துகொண்டு அழைத்துவிட முடியாத அளவிற்குப் பெயரிடமுடியாத மாபெரும் சுடர் போன்று இருப்பவனும், தனக்கென்று ஆரம்பமும் முடிவும் இல்லாதவனும் அவனே.

He is like a vast flame that cannot even be named because no one can come to know and call him by any name, and he has for himself neither a beginning nor an end.

அப்பேர்பட்ட சதாசிவமூர்த்தியின் அருமை பெருமைகளை அவன் அருள் மூலமே அறிந்துகொண்டு, அதை யான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகின்றேன்.

It is only through his own grace that I have come to know his precious greatness, and it is that which I now declare to you.

இறைவனைத் துதித்துப் பாடல்களை இசைத்துப் பாடி அவனருளைப் பெறக்கூடியவர்களின் வழியை அறியாதவன் யான்.

I do not know the way of those who receive God's grace by singing devotional songs to him with music.

இறைவனை ஆனந்தக் கூத்தாடி அவனருளைப் பெறக்கூடியவர்களின் வழியை அறியாதவன் யான்.

I do not know the way of those who receive his grace by dancing before him in joyous devotion.

இறைவனை உண்மையான அன்போடு நாடிச்சென்று அவனருளைப் பெறக்கூடியவர்களின் வழியை அறியாதவன் யான்.

I do not know the way of those who receive his grace by seeking him out with true love.

இறைவன் எங்கே இருக்கின்றான் என்று தேடி அலைந்து அவனைத் தமக்குள்ளே கண்டு அவனருளைப் பெறக்கூடியவர்களின் வழியையும் அறியாதவன் யான்; ஆயினும் எம்மை ஆட்கொண்டு அவனை முழுவதும் அறியவைத்தது சதாசிவமூர்த்தியின் பேரருளே.

Nor do I know the way of those who receive his grace by searching for where God dwells and finding him within themselves; and yet it was the great grace of Sadasivamurthy alone that took hold of me and made me know him fully.

என்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கும் வேதங்களைச் சொல்லுவதால் மட்டும் சதாசிவமூர்த்தியை உணர முடியாது.

Sadasivamurthy cannot be understood merely by reciting the eternal Vedas.

இனிமையான இசையோடு பாடுகின்ற அடியவர்களின் இசையினுள்ளே எழுந்தருளுகின்றவன் அவனே.

He rises up and dwells within the sweet music of the devotees who sing to him.

படைப்புத் தொழிலைச் செய்யவேண்டி இறைவன் படைத்த பிரம்மனும் அவனையே தியானிக்கிறான்.

Even Brahma, whom God created to carry out the work of creation, meditates upon him.

அவனது அருள் கொண்டே அவனை உணர முடியும்.

And it is only through his own grace that he can be understood at all.

இறைவனை உணர்ந்து முக்தி பெறவேண்டும் என்று மலை உச்சிகளிலும் குகைகளிலும் தவமிருக்கும்,

To sages and gods performing penance on mountain peaks and in caves, seeking to know God and attain liberation,

முனிவர்களுக்கும் தேவர்களுக்கும் சதாசிவமூர்த்தியை உணரக்கூடிய பேரறிவு ஞானத்தை இறைவனே கூறியருளினான்.

sages and gods alike, God himself graciously declared the supreme wisdom by which Sadasivamurthy can be known.

இறைவனும் தாமும் ஒன்றானவர்களே என்கிற உணர்வு இல்லாமல், இறைவனையும் தம்மையும் வேறு வேறாக எண்ணிக்கொண்டு,

Yet without the awareness that God and they are one, thinking of God and themselves as separate,

அவ்விறைவன்மேல் பக்திகொண்டு போற்றிப்பாடுபவர்கள், இறைவன் வழங்கிய பேரறிவு ஞானத்தின் பயனை அவர்கள் பெறாமலே இருக்கின்றார்கள்.

those who hold devotion for God and sing his praise remain without receiving the fruit of the very supreme wisdom that God gave.
