இறைவனைத் துதித்துப் பாடல்களை இசைத்துப் பாடி அவனருளைப் பெறக்கூடியவர்களின் வழியை அறியாதவன் யான். இறைவனை ஆனந்தக் கூத்தாடி அவனருளைப் பெறக்கூடியவர்களின் வழியை அறியாதவன் யான். இறைவனை உண்மையான அன்போடு நாடிச்சென்று அவனருளைப் பெறக்கூடியவர்களின் வழியை அறியாதவன் யான். இறைவன் எங்கே இருக்கின்றான் என்று தேடி அலைந்து அவனைத் தமக்குள்ளே கண்டு அவனருளைப் பெறக்கூடியவர்களின் வழியையும் அறியாதவன் யான்; ஆயினும் எம்மை ஆட்கொண்டு அவனை முழுவதும் அறியவைத்தது சதாசிவமூர்த்தியின் பேரருளே.
I do not know the way of those who receive God's grace by singing devotional songs to him with music. I do not know the way of those who receive his grace by dancing before him in joyous devotion. I do not know the way of those who receive his grace by seeking him out with true love. Nor do I know the way of those who receive his grace by searching for where God dwells and finding him within themselves; and yet it was the great grace of Sadasivamurthy alone that took hold of me and made me know him fully.
