2. அசுத்த சைவம்

இறைவனுக்கு இணையான பேரழகு கொண்ட, மரியாதைக்கும் மேன்மைக்கும் உரிய திருவடிகளைப் போற்றி வணங்கும் சாதகர்கள், சீரும் சிறப்புமாக ஒழுக்கத்துடன் பராமரிக்கும் தமது உடலில்,

Practitioners who praise and worship the sacred feet, of surpassing beauty equal to God and worthy of reverence and majesty, on a body they maintain with order and excellence,

இறைவனுக்கு இணையாக அழகாக இருக்கின்ற இரண்டு குண்டலங்களைத் தமது காதுகளில் அணிந்துகொண்டும், இறைவனோடு எப்போதும் சேர்த்தே வைத்திருக்கின்ற அவனது இரண்டு சின்னங்களாகிய நந்தியும் சூலமும் வைத்தும்,

wear on their ears two earrings beautiful and equal to God, and keep always together with God his two emblems, Nandi and the trident,

முறையான கயிற்றில் அழகாகக் கோர்க்கப்பட்டு இறைவனுக்கு இணையாக இருக்கின்ற ருத்திராட்ச மாலையைக் கழுத்தில் அணிந்துகொண்டும், இவை அனைத்தும் இறைவனுக்கு இணையாக இருக்கின்றன என்ற உறுதியான எண்ணத்தில் சிறிதளவும் குறைவின்றி எப்போதும் தம்மோடு சேர்த்தே வைத்துக்கொண்டு,

wear round the neck a rudraksha garland strung well on a fitting cord and equal to God, and hold, without the slightest wavering, the firm thought that all these are equal to God, keeping them always with themselves,

உடலால் பூஜித்தும் உடலாலும் மனத்தாலும் வழிபட்டும் இருக்கின்ற சாதகர்களே அசுத்த சைவமாகிய சரியை கிரியை ஆகிய இரு வழிமுறைகளைப் பின்பற்றுகின்றவர்கள் ஆவார்கள்.

worship with the body and worship with body and mind together: these are the ones who follow the two paths of Asuddha Saivam, Sariyai and Kiriyai.

தமது காதுகளில் ஒளி வீசிப் பிரகாசிக்கும் தங்கத்தால் அழகாக வார்க்கப்பட்ட கடுக்கன்கள் இரண்டையும் காதோடு சேர்த்து அணிந்துகொண்டு,

Wearing on their ears, joined to the ear, two earrings beautifully cast from gold that gleams with light,

இறைவனது திருநாமத்தை ஓதுகின்ற, மரியாதைக்கும் மேன்மைக்கும் உரிய தமது உடலுக்குள் அந்த ஓதலால் உருவாகின்ற சக்திகளைத் தம்மைச் சுற்றியே செயல்படுத்தும் பூணூலையும், அதை மேம்படுத்திச் செயல்படவைக்கும் ருத்திராட்சத்தையும் ஆகிய இரண்டு மாலைகளையும் அணிந்துகொண்டு,

chanting the sacred name of God, and wearing, on a body worthy of reverence and majesty, the two garlands, the sacred thread that sets working around themselves the powers born of that chanting, and the rudraksha that furthers and sets that working in motion,

இவற்றின் செயல்பாடுகளைச் சோதனை செய்துகொண்டே,

testing the working of these,

அவை சரியாக இயங்குகின்றனவா என்று ஆராய்ந்து, தொடர்ந்து இறைவனை ஓதிக்கொண்டிருப்பவர்களே அசுத்த சைவ வழிமுறையைக் கடைப்பிடிக்கும் சைவர்கள் ஆவார்கள்.

examining whether they work rightly, and continuing steadfastly to chant God's name: these alone are the Saivas who hold to the path of Asuddha Saivam.

பாடல் #867 இல் உள்ளபடி தமக்குள்ளும் தம்மைத் தாண்டியும் இருக்கின்ற ஒன்பது சக்தி மயங்களையும், முன் கூறிய பயிற்சியின்படி சாதகம் செய்து கண்டு உணர்ந்துகொண்டவர்களே உண்மையான சக்தி மயங்களைத் தரிசித்தவர்கள் ஆவார்கள்.

Those who, practicing according to the training already spoken of, come to see and realize the nine power-centres, existing both within themselves and beyond themselves as in verse 867, are the ones who have truly beheld the power-centres.

இவற்றைக் கண்டு உணர்ந்துகொண்ட சாதகர்கள், அந்தச் சக்தி மயங்களே கிடைப்பதற்கு மிகவும் அரிய பரம்பொருளான இறையாக இருப்பதை அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.

Practitioners who have seen and realized these come to know that those very power-centres are the Supreme, the God most rare to attain.

அதன்பிறகு, சாதகத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து செய்து, அந்தச் சக்தி மயங்களாக இருக்கின்ற இறைசக்தியே தாமாகவும் ஆகியிருப்பதை அவர்கள் உணர்ந்துகொள்வார்கள்.

After that, continuing the practice, they come to realize that the divine power that is those power-centres has itself become them.

இப்படி ஒன்பது சக்தி மயங்களாக இருக்கின்ற இறைவனைத் தரிசித்த சாதகர்களே கடுமையான சுத்த நெறியை இந்த உலகிலேயே பின்பற்றும் அசுத்த சைவர்கள் ஆவார்கள்.

Practitioners who have thus beheld God as the nine power-centres are the Asuddha Saivas who follow, in this very world, the severe path of purity.

ஞானியாகிய சாதகர், உலகத்திலுள்ள உயிர்கள் எழுச்சி பெற நன்மையைத் தருகின்ற நூல்கள் அனைத்தையும் அறிந்துகொள்பவராகவும் இருப்பார்.

The practitioner who is a sage will come to know all the texts that bring good so that the beings of the world may be uplifted.

பேச்சும் அசைவும் இல்லாத மோன நிலையில் இருந்தாலும் அனைத்துத் திசைகளிலும் நிகழும் அனைத்தையும் அறிந்தவராகவும், தமது எண்ணம் முழுவதிலும் இறைவனையே வைத்து எட்டு விதமான சித்திகளையும் பெற்றவராகவும் இருப்பார்.

He will know, even while remaining in a silent state without speech or motion, all that happens in every direction, and will, by setting God alone in the whole of his thought, gain the eight siddhis.

இந்த உலகம் தாண்டி இருக்கின்ற அனைத்து உலகங்களிலுள்ள உயிர்களும் அடைய வேண்டிய இறைவனை வெளிப்படையாக எழுதாமல் உட்பொருளாக மறைத்து வைத்திருக்கும் வேதங்களையும், அதன் எல்லையாக இருக்கின்ற இறைவனையும் உணர்ந்தவராகவும் இருப்பார்.

He will realize both the Vedas, which keep hidden as inner meaning, unwritten openly, the God whom the beings of all worlds beyond this one must reach, and God who is the limit of those Vedas.

அனைத்தையும் ஆளுகின்ற அரசனாக இருக்கின்ற இறைவனோடு தன்னையும் சரிசமமாகப் பாவிக்கும் குணத்தைக் கொண்டவராகவும் இருப்பார்.

And he will have the nature of regarding himself as equal with God, the king who rules over all.
