Within the practitioner who has reached the state of regarding and undergoing both kinds of deed, the good and the bad, as equal, the Goddess of sweet and great grace, who has nothing at all that is equal to her,

comes in the state of the guru, and removes every one of the many qualities that stand within the practitioner as good and as bad,

and grants the great wisdom that is known as what her immense compassion gives; if, by that wisdom, the practitioner reaches the state of having nothing that is his own action,

then the three kinds of impurity that stand within him are removed, and the practitioner too becomes Sivam, the Supreme itself.

In the heart of the practitioner who has so forgotten his own state that he does not perceive the two happenings called night and day,

if he thinks within that very heart of the Goddess whose hair is braided with the kuravam flower,

and joins with her and merges as one without making any clamour at all,

then by the grace that is her immense compassion she will take him into her keeping and bless him; she herself is the power of grace in which Para, who is God, and Parai, who is the Goddess, stand together.

The light that comes from the lamps lit for brightness as evening falls, the light that comes from the moon in the hours of night, and the light that comes from the sun in the hours of day,

and the light that comes from the lamps set alight in the worship offered to God: if the practitioner sees and realizes all of these as the very form of the radiance of God, who is the one great flame,

then God, the lord who lights up the world and gives his grace, will enter into his body,

will light up the true substance that stands within that body so that he comes to know it, and will remain with him always.
