பிரம்மன், திருமால், உருத்திரன், மகேசுவரன், ஈசன் ஆகிய ஐவர் மூலம் ஐந்து தொழில் புரியும் சதாசிவமூர்த்தியின் ஆகமத் தத்துவங்களையும், இயல் இசை நாடகம் ஆகிய முத்தமிழையும், நான்மறை வேதங்களையும் யாம் அளவின்றிப் பெற்றோம். அவற்றிலேயே மனம் திளைத்து, கடந்துசெல்லும் காலத்தின்மேல் மனதைச் செலுத்தாமல் இருந்தேன். அப்படி இருந்தபோதும், இனியும் சென்றுகொண்டிருக்கும் காலத்தை உதாசீனப்படுத்தாமல், காலத்தின் தேவையை உடனே உணர்ந்து இவற்றை மற்றவர்களுக்கு வழங்கவேண்டும் என்பதை என்னுடன் இருந்த இறைவன் உணர்த்தினான்.
We received without measure the philosophy of the Agamas of Sadasivamurthy, who carries out his five acts through the five deities Brahma, Thirumal, Rudra, Mahesvara and Isan, together with the three branches of Tamil, Iyal, Isai and Nadagam, and the four Vedas. My mind remained absorbed in them alone, giving no thought to the time that was passing. Even so, God, who remained with me, made me understand at once that I should not neglect the time still passing, but should recognise what the time demanded and pass all of this on to others.
