ஏழு கடல்களும் பொங்கியெழுந்து, ஏழு மேகங்களும் மும்மாரி மழையைப் பொழிந்து, எட்டுத் திசைகளும் நீரால் நிரம்பினாலும், 'பிறப்புக்கு உயர்வைத் தரும் நல் அறங்களைச் செய்துகொண்டே இருங்கள்' என்று அனைவரையும் பாதுகாத்து அருளுபவன் இறைவன். சிவப்பான பவளம் போன்ற மேனியும், குளிர்கொண்ட மேகம் போன்ற விரிந்த சடையும் உடையவன் அவன். தன் திருவடியைப் பணிந்து தொழுத நான்கு சனகாதி முனிவர்களுக்கும் (சனகர், சனந்தனர், சனாதனர், சனற்குமாரர்) அவன் அருளினான்.
Even if the seven seas rise up and swell, the seven clouds pour down their triple rain, and all eight directions fill with water, God still says, "Continue to perform the good deeds that raise up your birth," and so protects and blesses everyone. His form glows red as coral, and his spread matted locks are cool as a cloud. He gave his grace to the four sages beginning with Sanaka, Sanakar, Sanandhanar, Sanathanar and Sanatkumarar, who bowed and worshipped at his holy feet.
