ஆதியிலிருந்தே இருக்கும் சிவன், விஷ்ணு, பிரம்மா ஆகிய மூவருக்கும் மூத்தவன் சதாசிவமூர்த்தி. தனக்கு ஈடு இணை இல்லாத தலைவன் அவன். அவனை அப்பா என்று அழைத்தால், உயிர்களுக்கு அப்பாவாகவே தோன்றி அருள்புரிவான்; எப்படி அழைத்தாலும் அப்படியே தோன்றுவான். பொன் போன்ற அறிவொளி தரும் பல உபதேசங்களைக் குருவாக நின்று அளிப்பவனும், பொன்னொளி வடிவினனாய் வேதங்களைத் தன்னுள் கொண்டவனும் அவனே.
