பரமாகிய சிவமும், பராவாகிய சக்தியும் சேர்ந்து, அனைத்திற்கும் மேலான பராபரமாகிய சதாசிவமூர்த்தி, உலகின் தலைவனாய் நின்று, எல்லா உயிர்களும் இறைவனை அடையும் பொருட்டு ஆகமங்களை அருளிய நேரத்தில், அமரர்களுக்குக் குருவாய் நிற்கும் இறைவனை 'அரன்' என்று அவர்கள் அர்ச்சித்தனர். ஆகமங்கள் கூறும் ஞானத்தின் மொத்த அறிவு உருவமாக அவன் உயர்ந்து நின்றான்.
Sivam, who is Param, joined with Sakthi, who is Para, becoming Parapara, the one above all, Sadasivamurthy. Standing as lord of the world, at the time he graciously gave the Agamas so that every living being could reach him, the immortals worshipped God, who stood as their guru, under the name Aran. He rose up as the very embodiment of the whole knowledge that the Agamas declare.
