திருநெறி யாவது சித்தசித் தன்றிப்பெருநெறி யாய பிரானை நினைந்துகுருநெறி யாம்சிவ மாநெறி கூடும்ஒருநெறி ஒன்றாக வேதாந்தம் ஓதுமே.
உரை · meaning
இறைவனை அடையும் திருநெறி என்பது சித்தாந்தமும் (அறிந்த கருத்துக்கள்) அசித்தாந்தமும் (அறியாத கருத்துக்கள்) மட்டுமே அல்ல. இறைவனை மனத்தில் எப்போதும் நினைத்து அவனைப் பூஜிக்கும் பெருமைக்குரிய பக்தி வழியும் ஒரு நெறியே. குருவானவர் அருளும் மாபெரும் சிவ வழியில் ஒன்றுகூடும் சன்மார்க்க வழியும் ஒரு நெறியே. இவை அனைத்தும் இறைவனை அடையும் ஒரே வழியே என்பதை வேதாந்தம் ஓதுகின்றது.
The sacred path to reaching God is not only Siddhanta (known truths) and Asiddhanta (unknown truths). The glorious path of bhakti, keeping God always in one's thoughts and worshipping him, is also one such path. The path of Sanmargam, which joins into the great Shiva-path granted by the guru, is also one such path. The Vedanta declares that all of these are, in truth, one and the same single path.
