கர்மவினைப் பயனால் இல்லற வாழ்க்கையில் ஈடுபட்டுக்கொண்டே எப்போதும் இறைவன் சிந்தனையில் இருப்பவர்கள், மாபெரும் தவம் செய்பவர்களுக்கு ஈடானவர்கள். இறைவனை எப்போதும் நினைத்துக்கொண்டே இருப்பவர்கள் அவனுடைய பேரன்பிலேயே எப்போதும் நிற்பார்கள். பனைமரத்தில் கூடு கட்டி வாழும் பருந்து, அம்மரத்தின் பலன்களை அனுபவிக்காமல் வெளியில் உணவு தேடி அலைவதைப் போல, இறைவன் அருகிலேயே இருந்தும் அவனை நினைக்காதவர்களுக்குப் பேரின்பம் ஒருபோதும் கிடைப்பதில்லை.
Those who, caught up in household life because of the fruit of their karma, still keep God in their thoughts at all times, are equal to those who perform the greatest penance. Those who think of God constantly always stand within his great love. Like a kite that nests and lives in a palmyra tree yet, without ever tasting that tree's own fruit, flies off elsewhere searching for food, those who do not think of God, even while he is right beside them, never obtain the supreme bliss.
