அழிந்துபோகக்கூடிய இவ்வண்டமும் அதிலுள்ள அனைத்து உயிர்களும் கொண்டிருக்கும் உண்மைப் பொருளாகவும், அனைத்திற்கும் ஆரம்பமாகவும் இருக்கும் இறைவன், என்னை இம்மண்ணுலகில் வந்திருக்கச் செய்து, மண்ணுலக மாயையிலிருந்து விடுபடும் வழியாகத் தன் திருவடியையே எனக்கு அருளினான். இடைவெளியின்றி பகலிலும் இரவிலும் அவன் பாதங்களைப் பணிந்து போற்றியதன் மூலம், எனக்குள் இருந்த மாயையாகிய இருள் நீங்கி, அவனுடைய உண்மைப் பொருளை உணர்ந்து நின்றேன்.
The god who is the true substance held by this perishable universe and every being within it, and who is the origin of all things, made me come into being in this earthly world, and graciously gave me his own holy feet as the way to be freed from the illusion of this earthly world. By bowing to and praising his feet without a break, day and night, the darkness of maya within me lifted, and I came to realise his true substance.
