உரை · meaning
இறைவன் திருவருளால் நாள்தோறும் குருவாய் இருக்கும் நந்தியை வழிபட்டு நிற்கிறேன். அவனும், சிவப்பாய் எரியும் நெருப்புத் தழல் போன்ற வெளிச்சத்துடன் நம்முடன் நிற்கிறான். வானத்தில் இருளை நீக்கிப் பிரகாசமாய் ஒளிரும் நிலவைப் போல, அவன் குருவை வணங்குபவரின் உடலுக்குள் மகிழ்ந்து வருகிறான். அங்கே உயிருக்கு உயிராக நின்று, அஞ்ஞான இருளை அகற்றும் பேரொளியாக அவன் இருக்கிறான்.
By God's own grace, I stand and worship Nandi, who is my guru every single day. He too stands with us, glowing with a light like a red, burning flame. Like the moon that dispels darkness and shines bright in the sky, he comes gladly into the body of one who worships the guru. There, he stands as life to that life, the great light that drives away the darkness of ignorance.
