வாசனையில்லாத வெறும் கூந்தலில், வாசனைப் பொருள்களைச் சேர்த்து அரைத்த சாந்தைப் பூசியவுடன் இனிய மணம் வருவதைப் போல, உண்மையில்லாத உலகப் பற்றுக்களை விட்டு உண்மையான இறைவனை அடைந்து சிவமணம் கமழும் முக்தி பெற, இறைவன் அமரர்களுக்கு அருளிய மெய்ஞான வழி, ஆயிரம் சூரியனைப் போல் பிரகாசிக்கும் பேரறிவு ஒளியைத் தரும் 'ஓம் நமசிவாய' என்னும் முழுமையான திருநாமமே. அதன் அருமையை உணர்ந்ததால், செயலற்று ஓய்ந்திருக்கும்போதும் செயல்களைச் செய்துகொண்டிருக்கும்போதும், அத்திருநாமத்தை இடைவிடாது போற்றிப் புகழ்ந்துகொண்டே இருக்கின்றேன்.
