தேவர்களுக்கெல்லாம் தலைவனாகத் தேவர்களோடு கலந்திருப்பவனும், நமக்கும் தலைவனாக நம்மோடு கலந்திருப்பவனும், பத்துத் திசைகளிலும் (எட்டுத் திசைகளும், ஆகாயமும் பூமியும்) பரவியிருப்பவனும், பெருங்கடலால் சூழப்பட்ட ஏழு உலகங்களையும் தாண்டி நிற்பவனுமான சதாசிவமூர்த்தியின் தன்மை என்னவென்று யாரும் அறிந்துகொள்ளவில்லை. எங்கும் எதிலும் பரந்து நிறைந்திருக்கும் அந்தப் பரம்பொருளின் அருளைப் பற்றியே யாம் பாடுகின்றோம்.
No one has ever come to know the true nature of Sadasivamurthy, lord of all the gods and mingled with the gods themselves, our own lord mingled with us, spread through all ten directions (the eight compass directions together with the sky and the earth), and standing beyond even the seven worlds surrounded by the great ocean. It is the grace of that supreme being, spread and filling everything everywhere, that we sing of.
