படைப்புகள் அனைத்திற்கும் தொடக்கமும் முடிவும் எப்போது என்று முன்னரே தீர்மானித்து, அதன்படி படைத்தருள்பவன் இறைவன். தன்னை வணங்கி வழிபடும் அடியவருக்கே அடியவனாகவும் இருப்பவன் அவன். அவனுடைய தன்மையை உணர்த்தும் அறமும் நெறியும் எவை என்று தேடினால், அவை வேதங்களே. அவனுடைய உருவம் எப்படிப்பட்டது என்று தேடினால், இடி முழங்கும்போது வானில் தோன்றும் மின்னல் ஒளியும் அவன் உருவமே; அப்போது கேட்கும் இடி ஓசையும் அவன் உருவமே. இப்படி அனைத்தையும் தன் உருவமாகக் கொண்ட இறைவனின் இருப்பிடம் எது என்று தேடினால், நறுமண மலர்கள் நிறைந்த சோலைகள் சூழ்ந்த குன்றுகள் அனைத்தும் அவன் இருப்பிடமே; அக்குன்றுகள் அமைந்த மாபெரும் மலைகளும் அவன் இருப்பிடமே.
God decides in advance when the beginning and when the end of all creation will be, and creates accordingly. He is also servant to his own devotee, to whoever worships him. If you look for the dharma and the paths that reveal his nature, they are the Vedas themselves. If you look for what his form is like, the flash of lightning that appears in the sky when thunder roars is his form, and the sound of that thunder is also his form. And if you look for where this god, who holds all things as his own form, dwells, every hill surrounded by groves full of fragrant flowers is his dwelling, and the great mountains on which those hills stand are his dwelling too.
