உரை · meaning
இறைவனைப் போற்றிப் புகழ்ந்து இசைத்துப் பாடும் அடியவர்களின் உள்ளத்தில் நிலைத்து வீற்றிருக்கும் தூயவன் அவன். நான்கு திசைகளுக்கும், அதாவது உலகம் முழுவதற்கும், நன்மை செய்யும் மாதாகிய சக்திக்குத் தலைவனும் அவனே. அந்த நான்கு திசைகளுள் தென் திசைக்குத் தலைவனும், காலத்தின் அதிபதியாகிய எமனை உதைத்து விலக்கி காலத்தையே வென்றவனும் ஆகிய இந்த இறைவனையே நான் இங்கு சொல்கின்றேன்.
He is the pure one who dwells, established, in the hearts of devotees who praise, glorify and sing of him. He is also the lord of Sakthi, the mother goddess who does good to all four directions, meaning the whole world. Among those four directions, he is the lord of the south, and he is the one who kicked away Yama, the ruler of time, and so conquered time itself. It is this god whom I speak of here.
