எமது இறைவனாகிய சிவமே ஞானசக்தியை ஒரு பகுதியாகச் சேர்த்து சதாசிவமாக இருக்கின்றான். (சதாசிவம் அசையும் சக்தியாகவும், அசையா சக்தியாகவும் இரு பகுதியாக உள்ளான்.) அவனே வானத்தில் இருக்கும் அனைத்துத் தெய்வங்களின் உருவங்களாகவும் மருவி அங்கு இருக்கின்றான். உலகங்கள் அனைத்திற்கும் தலைவனான அவனே, அவ்வுலகங்களில் இருக்கும் அனைத்து உயிர்களின் உடலுக்குள்ளும் ஒரு பாகமாக இருந்துகொண்டு, உள்ளிருந்து அந்த உடலை இயக்கும் உயிர்சக்தியாகவும் இருக்கின்றான். இப்படி அனைத்திலும் ஒரு பாகமாக இருக்கும் சிவமே அனைத்தின் தன்மைகளிலும் கலந்து நின்று அனைத்துமாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.
Shivam, our own God, is Sadasivam, having joined wisdom-power to himself as one part. (Sadasivam exists in two parts, as the moving power and the unmoving power.) He himself dwells in the heavens, mingled there in the very forms of all the deities. He, lord of all the worlds, is present as one part within the bodies of every living being in those worlds, and is also the very life-force that, from within, drives that body. Shivam, present in this way as one part in everything, remains mingled within the nature of all things, and so is himself everything.
