அனைத்திற்கும் ஆதியாகிய சதாசிவமூர்த்தியை அருகிலும் தூரத்திலும் எண்ணிப் பார்த்தாலும், அவருக்கு நிகரான பெருந்தெய்வம் எதுவும் காணக் கிடைக்காது. நம்முடைய முயற்சியும் அவனே; அம்முயற்சியின் பயனும் அவனே. மழை பொழியும் மேகமும் அவனே; அவன் பெயர் நந்தி.
Looking near and far at Sadasivamurthy, the origin of all things, no great deity equal to him is to be found anywhere. He himself is our effort, and he himself is the fruit of that effort. He is also the rain-pouring cloud, and his name is Nandi.
