பயனறிந் தவ்வழி எண்ணும் அளவில்அயனொடு மால்நமக் கன்னியம் இல்லைநயனங்கள் மூன்றுடை நந்தி தமராம்வயனம் பெறுவீர் அவ்வானவ ராலே.

இறைவனை அடையவேண்டும் என்பதையே பிறவிப்பயனாக அறிந்துகொண்டு, அதற்கான வழிகள் என்னவென்று யோசிக்கும் அளவில், எந்தத் தெய்வத்தை வணங்கினாலும் ஒன்றே; இவர்களுக்குத் திருமாலும் பிரம்மனும் அன்னியர்கள் இல்லை. முக்கண் முதல்வனாகிய குருநாதன் சிவபெருமானுக்குச் சொந்தமே அவர்கள். ஆகையால் உண்மையான பயனை அடையவேண்டும் என்று எண்ணி எந்த வானவர்களை வணங்கினாலும், அதற்கான பயனைச் சதாசிவமூர்த்தியே அந்த வானவர்களாக இருந்து அருளுவார்.
For those who know that the very purpose of birth is to reach God, and who, on that basis, think about what the ways of reaching him might be, it makes no difference which deity they worship, it is all the same; to them, Thirumal and Brahma are not strangers. They belong to the three-eyed first Lord, Sivaperuman himself, our own guru. And so, whichever of the celestial beings one worships with the wish to gain the true fruit, it is Sadasivamurthy himself who, in the very form of that celestial being, grants that fruit in his grace.
