  அனைத்திற்கும் நாயகர்களாக விளங்குகின்ற பிரம்மன், திருமால், உருத்திரன், மகேஸ்வரன், சதாசிவன் ஆகிய ஐந்து மூர்த்திகளுக்கும் தீப ஆராதனை செய்து அமரர்களின் கூட்டம் தொழுது வணங்கும் போது,

  When the assembly of the immortals performs the lamp offering to the five murthys who shine as lords of all, Brahma, Thirumal, Rudra, Maheswara and Sadasiva, and bows before them in worship,

  அந்த ஐந்து நாயகர்களாக இருந்து அவர்கள் புரியும் தொழில்களை அருளுவது, தனக்கென்று எந்த ஒரு முடிவும் இல்லாத தலைவனாகிய இறைவனின் திருவருளே ஆகும்.

  it is the sacred grace of the Lord, the chief who has no end of his own, that stands as those five lords and grants the works they perform.

  தெவிட்டாத தேனாகிய பேரின்ப அமிழ்தத்தை வெளியே அலைந்து தேடாமல் உண்மை ஞானிகள் தமக்குள்ளேயே தேடி அடைகின்ற, சகஸ்ரதளத்தின் ஆயிரம் இதழ் கொண்ட தாமரை மலரின் உள்ளே தெளிந்த ஜோதியாக வீற்றிருக்கின்ற பேரின்ப அமிழ்தமாகவும் அந்தத் திருவருளே இருக்கின்றது.

  That same sacred grace is also the nectar of great bliss seated as a clear flame inside the thousand-petalled lotus of the sahasradala, the honey that never cloys, which the truly wise seek and find within themselves rather than by wandering outside.

  இந்த உலகத்தில் இருக்கின்ற நிலம், நீர், காற்று, நெருப்பு, ஆகாயம் ஆகிய ஐந்து பூதங்களின் குணமாகவும் அதுவே இருக்கின்றது; இப்படித் தமது திருவருளாலேயே அனைத்தையும் உருவாக்கி நிற்கின்றான் இறைவன்.

  It is also the quality of the five elements of this world, earth, water, air, fire and sky; and so it is by his own sacred grace that the Lord has made all things and stands.
