பான்மொழி பாகன் பராபரன் றானாகுமானசதா சிவன் றன்னை யாவாகித்துமேன்முக மீசான மாகவே கைக்கொண்டுசீன்முகஞ் செய்யச் சிவனவ னாகுமே.
உரைmeaning
இறைவனை அடைய வேண்டும் என்ற உண்மையான தேடுதலோடு முயற்சி செய்கின்ற அடியவர்களுக்கு, அவரவருடைய கர்ம நிலைகள் நீங்கி இறைவனை அடைகின்ற பக்குவம் கிடைக்கும் வண்ணம் அருள் புரிகின்ற இறைவியைத் தமது சரிபாதிப் பாகமாகக் கொண்டு, அடியவர்களுக்கு அருளும் தொழிலைப் புரிகின்றவன் சதாசிவமூர்த்தியாகிய இறைவன். அந்த இறைவனை முதலில் அருவுருவமாக வழிபடுவதற்கு, ஆகம விதிகளின்படி முறையாக இலிங்க வடிவத்தைச் செய்து, அதில் எழுந்தருளும்படி இறைவனை உண்மையான அன்போடு வேண்டி வரவழைக்க வேண்டும். அதன் பிறகு தாம் செய்கின்ற இலிங்க வழிபாட்டை முறைப்படி சரியாகக் கடைபிடித்து, அதன் பயனால் இலிங்கத்தில் எழுந்தருளிய இறைவனைத் தமக்குள்ளும் எழுந்தருளும்படி செய்து, அதையே தலையாகப் பற்றிக் கொண்ட அடியவர்கள் சிவமாகவே ஆகிவிடுவார்கள்.
The Lord who is Sadasivamurthy holds as his own equal half the Goddess who graces devotees striving with a true seeking to reach him, granting each of them, as their own states of karma fall away, the ripeness by which they reach him; and it is he who does the work of gracing devotees. To worship that Lord first in the form that is both form and formless, one makes the lingam shape properly according to the rules of the Agamas, and prays with true love that he come and be present in it. After that, keeping rightly and properly to the lingam worship one performs, and by its fruit making the Lord who has come into the lingam be present within oneself as well, the devotees who take hold of that very presence as the head of all become Siva itself.

Sadasivamurthy, in whom the Goddess and the Lord grace together, is to be invoked with true love so that he comes and is present in the lingam shape made properly according to the rules of the Agamas.

The Lord thus present in the lingam is then to be made present within oneself as well, and that state is to be held as the head of all.
