  அடியவர்கள் தாம் செய்கின்ற யாகத்தில் விருப்பத்தோடு அளிக்கின்ற யாகப் பொருட்களை, விரிந்த சடையைக் கொண்ட குருநாதனாகிய இறைவன் பிரசாதமாக ஏற்கின்றான்.

  The God who is the guru, of the spreading matted hair, receives as prasadam the offerings devotees give willingly in the fire rite they perform.

  அவனுக்கு நாம் வளர்த்துச் சமர்ப்பிக்கின்ற யாக அக்னி, நமக்குள் இருக்கின்ற மலங்கள் நீங்க வேண்டி, காலையில் சூரியன் தோன்றும் போதும் மாலையில் சூரியன் மறையும் போதும் நாம் செய்கின்ற யாகமாக இருக்க வேண்டும்.

  The fire we raise and offer to him should be the rite we perform when the sun rises in the morning and when the sun sets in the evening, for the sake of the departing of the impurities within us.

  புகையை ஊட்டுகின்ற யாகப் பொருட்களினுடைய நெருப்பு இறைவனுடைய உள்ளத்தைக் குளிர்விக்கும்.

  The fire of the offerings that feed it with smoke cools his heart.

  மந்திரங்களை ஓதி, யாகத்தில் பொருட்களை இட்டு, அக்னியை வளர்த்துக் காட்டும் போது, அந்த அக்னியில் ஜோதியாக வீற்றிருப்பவன் நம்மை ஆட்கொண்டு காத்து அருள்கின்ற இறைவனே ஆகும்.

  When the mantras are chanted, the offerings placed in the rite and the fire raised and shown, the one seated in that fire as its flame is God himself, who takes us as his own and guards us and gives us his grace.
