  அடியவர்களுடைய உள்ளமே இறைவன் வீற்றிருக்கும் மிகப் பெரும் கோயிலாகும்; அவர்களுடைய தசையும் எலும்புகளுமான உடலே இறைவனைப் பூசிக்க வலம் வரும் ஆலயமாகும்.

  The heart of the devotees is itself the great temple in which God is seated, and their body of flesh and bone is itself the shrine they walk around to worship him.

  இல்லை என்று வருபவர்களுக்குத் தம்மால் இயன்றதை வழங்குகின்ற வள்ளல் தன்மை கொண்டு போற்றத் தகுந்த அடியவர்களுக்கு, அவர்களுடைய வாயே இறைவனைத் தரிசிக்க வருகின்றவர்களை வரவேற்கும் கோபுர நுழைவாசல் ஆகும்.

  For devotees worthy of praise, who have the giver's nature and hand to whoever comes in want whatever they can, their mouth is itself the gateway tower that welcomes those who come for his sight.

  இறைவனைத் தமக்குள் ஆராய்ந்து தெளிவாக அறிந்து கொண்டவர்களுடைய ஆன்மாவே இறைவனுடைய அடையாளமான இலிங்கமாகும்.

  For those who have searched within themselves and clearly known God, their soul is itself the lingam that is his sign.

  தமது இயல்பிலேயே மாயையால் உண்மையை மறைக்கின்ற திருட்டுத் தனம் கொண்ட ஐந்து புலன்களும், தமது இயல்பு நிலை மாறி, இருட்டாகிய மாயையை நீக்குகின்ற வெளிச்சத்தைத் தரும் விளக்குகள் ஆகும்.

  The five senses, thievish by their own nature and hiding the truth by maya, change from that nature and become lamps giving the light that drives out the darkness which is maya.
