  இந்த உலகத்திற்குத் திரும்பவும் வந்துவிடாத பெரும் வழியைத் தந்து அருளிய மாபெரும் குருநாதனாகிய இறைவன் பெருமை மிக்க நந்தி ஆவான்.

  The great God who is the guru, who gave the great way by which one does not come back again to this world, is Nandi of great renown.

  என்றும் தெவிட்டாத அமிழ்தமாகிய பேரின்பத்தை அளித்து அருளியவனும் அந்தக் குருநாதனாகிய பெருமை மிக்க நந்தியே.

  He who gave the great bliss which is the nectar that never cloys is that same guru, Nandi of great renown.

  தனது திருப்பெயர்களாக அடியவர்கள் அழைக்கும் ஆயிரம் பெயர்களை உடைய பெருமானாக இருந்தாலும், தனக்கென்று தனிப் பெயர் ஒன்றும் இல்லாதவன் அவன்.

  Though he is the lord bearing the thousand names by which devotees call him as his sacred names, he has no separate name of his own.

  என்றும் தெவிட்டாத அமிழ்தமாகிய தனது பேரருள் பெருங்கடலில் மூழ்கிப் பேரின்பத்தில் திளைத்து இருங்கள் என்று தமது அடியவர்களுக்கு அவன் அருளினான்.

  He gave his devotees this word: sink in the vast sea of my great grace, which is the nectar that never cloys, and steep yourselves in that bliss.
