  ஆதி பராபரனாகிய சிவமும், ஆதி பராபரையாகிய சக்தியும், அவர்களுக்கு உள்ளிருந்து தோன்றுகின்ற ஒலியாகிய சத்தமும், ஒளியாகிய வெளிச்சமும்,

  Sivam who is the primal supreme, Sakti who is the primal supreme power, the sound that arises from within them, and the light that arises from within them,

  பெரும் தவங்கள் புரிந்து தகுதி பெற்று இறை நிலையை அடைந்து, ஐந்து முகங்களைக் கொண்டு அருளுகின்ற சதாசிவனும், அழிக்கின்ற உருத்திரனும்,

  Sadasivan, who through great austerity gained the fitness to reach the divine state and gives grace bearing five faces, and Rudran who destroys,

  உலகத்தைக் காப்பதில் மிகுதியாக நிற்கின்ற திருமாலும், தாமரை மலரின் மேல் தவம் புரிந்து படைக்கின்ற பிரம்மனும் ஆவர்.

  Thirumal who stands foremost in guarding the world, and Brahman who creates, having performed austerity upon the lotus flower.

  இந்த ஒன்பது விதமான இறை சக்திகளாகவும் உருமாறி நடித்துக் கொண்டு இருக்கின்றவன் ஆதிப் பரம்பொருளாகிய இறைவன் ஒருவனே.
