  தமக்குள்ளே இருக்கின்ற இறைவனின் திருவருளால் பிறவி இல்லாத நிலையை அடைய முடியும் என்பதை அறிந்துகொள்ளாத தன்மையினால், உயிர்களின் ஒரு பிறவியின் காலங்கள் வீணாகக் கழிந்து போகின்றன.

  Because souls do not come to know that the state beyond birth can be reached by the divine grace of the Lord who is within them, the seasons of a whole birth pass away for nothing.

  இப்படி வீணாக வாழ்நாளைக் கழிக்காமல் இறைவனைத் தேடுகின்ற உயிர்கள் எவை என்பதைப் பிரித்து அறிகின்றவன், பிறை நிலாவையும் கங்கையையும் தலையில் சடையாகச் சூடிக்கொண்டு பிறவி இல்லாத நிலையை அருளும் எமது தலைவனாகிய இறைவன் ஆவான்.

  The one who tells apart which souls do not waste their days so but seek the Lord is our head, the Lord who wears the crescent moon and the Ganga in the matted hair on his head and who grants the state beyond birth.

  அவனைத் தமக்குள்ளே ஆராய்ந்து அறிகின்றவர்களுக்கு அவன் உண்மை அறிவாக எப்போதும் துணையாக இருப்பான்.

  To those who search him out within themselves and know him, he will always be their companion as true knowledge.

  அந்த இறைவன் உள்ளுக்குள் இருந்து உணர்த்துகின்ற அறிவுத் துணையை எப்போதும் சார்ந்திருந்து அனைத்தையும் அறிந்துகொள்ளுகின்ற அடியவர்கள், மிகப் பெரிய தன்மைகளை அடையும் வல்லமை பெற்றவர்களாக இருப்பார்கள்.

  The devotees who always keep close to that companion knowledge which the Lord makes known from within, and who come to know everything by it, will have the power to reach the greatest of states.
