  அனைத்தையும் இறைவனே செய்கின்றான் என்று நினைக்காமல், நான் செய்கின்றேன் என்கிற தாழ்வான எண்ணத்தில் பல விதமான செயல்களைச் செய்துகொண்டு, தேவை இல்லாதவற்றைப் பேசிக்கொண்டு, வீணாக அலைந்து திரிந்தேன்.

  Instead of holding that the Lord does everything, I did many kinds of deeds in the low thought that I am the doer, I talked of things that needed no talking, and I wandered about to no purpose.

  அப்படி இருந்தாலும், இறைவன் விதித்த தர்மப்படி வாழ்க்கையைக் கடத்துகின்ற எம்மிடமுள்ள தூசுகளை நீக்கி, எமக்குள்ளே வீற்றிருக்கின்ற அழுக்குகளை அனைத்தையும் தாமே வாங்கிக்கொண்டு அருளினான் இறைவன்.

  Even so, because I passed my life according to the dharma the Lord laid down, he removed the dust that was on me, took upon himself every stain that sat within me, and gave me his grace.

  பிறகு, குற்றம் சேராத தூய்மையாக எம்மை மாற்றி அருளினான்.

  Then he changed me into a purity that gathers no fault.

  அப்படி மாற்றிய இறைவனையும் எம்மையும் ஒரே வட்டமாகிய தன்மைக்குள் ஒன்றாகச் சேர்ந்திருக்கின்ற நிலைக்குக் கொண்டுவந்து, தம்மை நோக்கிப் பிற உயிர்களும் வருவதற்கான வழிகளை எம்மைச் செய்ய வைத்து, அதன் பயனால் முக்தியைக் கொடுத்து எமக்கு அருளுகின்றான்.

  He brought me and himself into one and the same circle, into the state of being joined together; he made me do the things by which other souls too may come towards him; and as the fruit of that he grants me liberation.
