  சத்தம் இருக்கின்ற ஆகாயத்தின் வழியில், நிலமாகிய உலகமும், உலகத்தில் இருக்கின்ற நீரும் நிற்கின்றன.

  Along the way of the sounding sky stand the earth that is the world and the water that is in the world.

  அலைந்து திரிகின்ற காற்றும், பொருளின் தன்மைக்கு ஏற்பப் பழகுகின்ற நெருப்பும் அவற்றோடு நிற்கின்றன.

  With them stand the wind that roams and wanders and the fire that behaves according to the nature of whatever it meets.

  இப்படி ஐந்து பூதங்களின் கூட்டமாக இருக்கின்ற வழியில் அனைத்திலும் நீண்டு விரிந்தும், இவை அனைத்தையும் தாண்டியும் இருக்கின்றான் பரம்பொருளாகிய இறைவன்.

  The Lord, the supreme reality, stretches long and wide through everything along this way of the gathered five elements, and stands beyond them all as well.

  அப்படிப்பட்ட இறைவனை ஒரு எல்லைக்குள் வரையறுத்து, அவனை வணங்குவதற்கான வழியை யாம் அறியாமல் இருக்கின்றோம்.

  We do not know the way to bound such a Lord within a limit and to worship him.
