  தேவர்களுக்கெல்லாம் தலைவன், திசைகளைத் தனது திருமுகங்களாகக் கொண்ட தலைவன்,

  The Lord of all the celestials, the Lord who has the directions as his sacred faces,

• வரி 2Line 2

  நான்கு தெய்வங்களுக்கும் தலைவன், அருவமாகிய மேலுக்கும் உருவமாகிய கீழுக்கும் நடுவில் வீற்றிருக்கின்ற குருநாதனாகிய இறைவன்,

  the Lord of the four deities, the guru who is God, seated at the centre between the formless above and the form below,

  எவருக்கும் தலைவன் என்றெல்லாம் போற்றி வழிபடுகின்ற அடியவர்களின் நெறிமுறையைப் பின்பற்றி, தாமும் அப்படியே வழிபடுகின்ற அடியவர்களுடைய தலைவனாகவும்,

  and the Lord of everyone: to those devotees who follow the discipline of the devotees who praise and worship him by all these names and who themselves worship in the same way, he is their Lord as well,

  தமது திருவடியை அருளி அடியவர்க்கும் அடியவனாகவும், அவர்களைக் காத்து அருளுபவனாகவும் ஞான இலிங்க வடிவான இறைவன் இருக்கின்றான்.

  and God in the form of the jnana lingam, granting them his own sacred feet, is servant even to his servants, and guards them and graces them.
