  மாபெரும் குருநாதராகிய இறைவனை எத்தனை காலம் வேண்டித் தொழுதாலும்,

  However long one beseeches and worships the great guru who is God,

• வரி 2Line 2

  தமக்குள்ளேயே இருக்கின்ற அந்தக் குருநாதராகிய இறைவன், ஒளிமயமான வடிவத்தில் தனிச் சுடராகவே நின்று வெளிப்படுவார்.

  that same guru who is God, dwelling within oneself, stands forth as a single flame in a form wholly of light.

  குருநாதர் காட்டிய வழியில், மூச்சுக் காற்று வயிற்றைக் கடந்து சென்று, மேலே ஆயிரம் இதழ் கொண்ட தாமரை மலரைச் சென்று அடையும்.

  By the way the guru showed, the breath passes beyond the belly and reaches the thousand-petalled lotus above.

  அதற்கும் மேலே ஜோதியாக வீற்றிருக்கின்ற அந்தக் குருநாதராகிய இறைவன், அந்தத் தாமரையையும் கடந்து எட்டாவது வெளியும், அதையும் கடந்த ஒன்பதாவது வெளியும் வரை, அந்த ஒன்பது இடங்களிலும் முழுவதுமாக நிறைந்து நிற்பதுவே சதாசிவ இலிங்கம் ஆகும்.

  And that guru who is God, seated as a flame of light above that lotus, stands filling entirely all nine places, out past the lotus to the eighth space and to the ninth space beyond it; and that standing is the Sadasiva lingam.
