  முந்தைய பாடலில் சொன்ன மூன்று சக்திகளின் வடிவம் இலிங்க வடிவத்தில் அமையும்போது, நான்கு கோணங்கள் அமைந்த இலிங்க வடிவத்தில், தண்ணீரைப் போலத் தன்மைக்கு ஏற்ப நிறைந்து இருக்கும் ஞான சக்தியாக நின்றிடும்.

  When the form of the three powers spoken of in the previous verse takes the shape of the lingam, then in the lingam of four corners it stands as the power of knowledge, filling it according to its nature as water does.

  ஆறு கோணங்கள் அமைந்த இலிங்க வடிவத்தில், சயன நிலையில் படுத்துக் கிடக்கும் இச்சா சக்தியாக வீற்றிருக்கும்.

  In the lingam of six corners it is seated as the power of will, lying in the posture of repose.

  நான்கு வட்டங்கள் அமைந்த இலிங்க வடிவத்தில், மேக நீரைப் போலச் சுழன்று கொண்டே இருக்கின்ற கிரியா சக்தியாக இருந்திடும்.

  In the lingam of four circles it stands as the power of action, whirling ceaselessly like the water of the clouds.

  இப்படி மூன்று வகையாக இருக்கின்ற சக்தியின் இலிங்க வடிவங்களாக இருப்பது சதாசிவ மூர்த்தி ஆகும்.
