  ஆதி முதலே தானாகவே இருக்கின்ற, அசையாத சக்தியாகிய இறைவனுடைய ஐந்து திருமுகங்களோடு, அசையும் சக்தியாகிய இறைவி சேர்ந்துவிட்டால்,

  If the Goddess, who is the moving power, joins with the five sacred faces of God, who is the unmoving power that has been of itself from the very beginning,

  வடக்கு நோக்கி இருக்கின்ற வாமதேவத் திருமுகம் அமைதியடைந்து இறைவியின் ஆற்றலுக்கு உட்பட்டுவிடும்.

  then the Vamadeva face that looks north grows quiet and comes under the Goddess's power.

  மேற்கு நோக்கி இருக்கின்ற சத்தியோசாதத் திருமுகம் குதிரையின் ஓட்டம் போல விரைந்து இயங்கும்; கிழக்கு நோக்கி இருக்கின்ற தற்புருடத் திருமுகம் சிவந்த இரத்தத்தின் ஓட்டம் போல இயங்கும்.

  The Sadyojata face that looks west moves swiftly, like the running of a horse, and the Tatpurusha face that looks east moves like the flow of red blood.

  தெற்கு நோக்கி இருக்கின்ற அகோரத் திருமுகத்தில் இறைவனும் இறைவியும் சரிபாதியாக இருப்பார்கள்; நடுவில் மேல் நோக்கி இருக்கின்ற ஈசானத் திருமுகத்தில் இருவரும் இணைந்து மகுடம் போல உயர்ந்து இருப்பார்கள்.

  In the Aghora face that looks south, God and the Goddess stand as equal halves, and in the Ishana face that looks upward at the centre the two stand joined together, raised like a crown.
