ஆலகால விஷத்தை அருந்தியதால் கருமை நிறைந்த திருக்கழுத்தும், திருக்கரத்தில் ஏந்தி இருக்கின்ற, பாசங்களை அறுக்கின்ற மழுவும், சுருள் நிறைந்த செம்மையான சடையும், அந்தச் சடையின் மேல் ஜோதியாகப் பிரகாசிக்கும் பிறை நிலாவும், அருள் நிறைந்த சிந்தையும் கொண்டு விளங்குகின்ற எமது ஆதிப் பரம்பொருளாகிய இறைவனை, தெளிவான அறிவினால் ஆராய்ந்து, எனக்கு உள்ளே தெளிவாக உணர்ந்து இருக்கின்றேன்.
Our God, the first supreme being, shines with a sacred throat filled with darkness because he drank the halahala poison, with the mazhu he holds in his sacred hand which cuts the bonds of attachment, with red matted locks full of curls, with the crescent moon that shines like a flame upon those locks, and with a mind filled with grace. I have examined him with clear knowledge, and I remain having realized him clearly within myself.
