  எடுத்துக் கூறினால் உணர்வுப் பூர்வமாக அறிந்து கொள்கின்ற சதா சிவப் பரம்பொருளே எமது இறைவனாகும்.

  The supreme being Sadasivam, who is known through feeling when he is spoken of, is our God.

  அவனே வேறு வேறு விதங்களில் பல விதமாகத் திருவிளையாடல்கள் செய்து, அனைத்திற்கும் மேலான பொருளாகவும் நிற்கின்றான்.

  He performs his sacred plays in many different ways, and he stands as the being above all things.

  உலகத்தில் தவத்திலும் தானத்திலும் சிறந்து, அதன் பயனால் மேலான நிலைக்குச் சென்று, உலக இயக்கத்திற்காகப் பல தொழில்களைப் புரிகின்ற வானவர்கள் அனைவரோடும் சேர்ந்து இருக்கின்றான்.

  He remains together with all the celestials, those who excelled on earth in austerity and in giving, who rose by the fruit of that to a higher state, and who now carry out many works for the running of the world.

  அவர்களோடு சேர்ந்து தீயவற்றை மாற்றி நன்மையை அருளுவதைச் செய்கின்றான்; சதாசிவ இலிங்க வடிவமாக இருக்கின்ற அந்த இறைவன் எமது மனதில் புகுந்தான்.

  With them he turns away evil things and grants what is good. That God, who stands in the form of the Sadasiva lingam, entered our mind.
