  தம்மை வணங்கும் அடியவர்களுக்காக இறைவன் அருளிய திருமுகங்கள், நடுவில் மேல் நோக்கி இருக்கின்ற ஈசானம் முகம், கிழக்கு நோக்கி இருக்கின்ற தற்புருடம் முகம், தெற்கு நோக்கி இருக்கின்ற அகோரம் முகம், வடக்கு நோக்கி இருக்கின்ற வாமதேவம் முகம், மேற்கு நோக்கி இருக்கின்ற சத்தியோசாதம் முகம் ஆகும்.

  The sacred faces God has granted for the devotees who worship him are the Isanam face, which is in the middle and looks upward; the Thatpurusham face, which looks east; the Agoram face, which looks south; the Vamadevam face, which looks north; and the Sathyojatham face, which looks west.

  ஈசானம் முகம் படிக நிறத்திலும், தற்புருடம் முகம் நல்ல குங்கும நிறத்திலும் இருக்கின்றது.

  The Isanam face is of the colour of crystal, and the Thatpurusham face of a fine vermilion colour.

  அகோரம் முகம் கருப்பு நிறத்திலும், வாமதேவம் முகம் செம்மையான அரத்தம் பூவைப் போன்ற சிகப்பு நிறத்திலும், சத்தியோசாதம் முகம் பாலைப் போன்ற வெண்மையான நிறத்திலும் இருக்கின்றது.

  The Agoram face is of a black colour, the Vamadevam face of a red colour like the ruddy aratham flower, and the Sathyojatham face of a white colour like milk.
