  வேதங்களை ஓதிப் படைக்கின்ற பிரம்மன், அனைத்தையும் காக்கின்ற திருமால், மாயையை அழிக்கின்ற உருத்திரன் ஆகிய மும்மூர்த்திகளும்,

  Brahman who recites the Vedas and creates, Thirumal who guards everything, and Rudran who destroys illusion, these three deities,

  அவர்களுக்கு மேல் இருக்கின்ற, மாயையால் மறைக்கின்ற மகேஸ்வரன், அடியவருக்கு அருளுகின்ற சதாசிவன் ஆகியவரோடு சேர்ந்து, ஐந்து விதமான தொழில்களைச் செய்கின்ற தெய்வங்களாக இருக்கின்றார்கள்.

  together with Maheswaran above them who conceals by illusion and Sadasivan who grants grace to devotees, stand as the deities who perform the five kinds of work.

  அவர்களுக்கு மேல், வெளிச்சமாகவும் சத்தமாகவும் இருந்து அவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் ஆதார சக்தியாக இருக்கின்ற பராசக்தியும், ஆதியாகிய பரமசிவனும் இருக்கின்றார்கள்.

  Above them stand Parasakti, who is light and sound and is the supporting power of them all, and Paramasivan who is the first of all.

  இந்த அனைத்துத் தெய்வ நிலைகளுக்கும் பொதுவானதாகவும், அனைத்திற்கும் மேலானதாகவும், அன்பே வடிவமாகவும், இலிங்க அடையாளம் கொண்டும் இருப்பதே சதாசிவப் பரம்பொருள் ஆகும்.

  What is common to all these divine states, and above them all, and love itself as its form, and bears the mark of the lingam, is the supreme being Sadasivam.
