  அனைத்திற்கும் மேலான சிவப் பரம்பொருளாகிய சதாசிவமூர்த்தியின் திருவுருவம், அடியவர்களை மேல் நிலைக்குக் கொண்டு செல்லும் இணைந்தே இருக்கின்ற இரண்டு திருவடிகளைக் கொண்டது.

  The sacred form of Sadasivamurthy, the supreme Shiva who is above all things, has two sacred feet that stand joined together and carry devotees to a higher state.

  பத்துத் திசைகளுக்கும் பரந்து எட்டுகின்ற பத்துத் திருக்கரங்களைக் கொண்டது.

  It has ten sacred hands that spread out and reach all ten directions.

  ஐந்து திருமுகங்களையும், அந்த ஐந்து முகங்களிலும் முகத்திற்கு மூன்றாக மொத்தம் பதினைந்து திருக்கண்களையும் கொண்டது.

  It has five sacred faces, and, three to each of those five faces, fifteen sacred eyes in all.

  ஒப்பில்லாத முத்துப் போலப் பிரகாசமான ஒளி வீசும் ஜோதி அம்சமாகவும் இருக்கின்றது; உருவமே இல்லாத இறைவனுக்கு இப்படி அடியவர்கள் காணக்கூடிய அருவுருவமான வடிவமாக இருப்பதே சதாசிவ இலிங்கம் ஆகும்.

  It is also the aspect of light that shines bright like a pearl without equal. For God who has no form at all, standing in this way as a form with and without shape that devotees can see is what the Sadasiva lingam is.
