  இறைவனை மட்டுமே எண்ணிக்கொண்டு தவம் புரிகின்ற வழியில் நிற்கின்ற தவசிகள், தாங்கள் அனுபவிக்க வேண்டியதும் இனிச் சேரப்போவதும் ஆகிய கர்மங்கள் அனைத்தும்,

  For the ascetics who stand in the way of austerity, holding God alone in their thought, all the karmas they must yet undergo and all those still to gather,

  அவற்றை உருவாக்கிய இறைவனிடத்திலேயே சென்று சேர்ந்துவிடுகின்றன; அதைத் தேவர்களும் அறிய மாட்டார்கள்.

  go and reach the very God who made them, and not even the celestials know this.

• வரி 3Line 3

  தவத்தின் வழியில் நின்றும் இந்தப் பேருண்மையை அறிந்துகொள்ளாதவர்கள் எல்லாரும்,

  All those who stand in the way of austerity and still do not come to know this great truth

• வரி 4Line 4

  பிறவி எனும் கட்டுக்குள் அகப்பட்டு நின்று, முடிவில்லாத வினைகளை அனுபவிக்கும் நிலையிலேயே இருக்கின்றார்கள்.

  remain caught inside the bond called birth, in the very state of undergoing deeds without end.
