  ஐந்து வகையான மகா பாவங்களையும் செய்வதோடு, ஒரு உண்மையான ஞானியைப் போலப் பொய்யான வேடம் அணிந்தவர்கள் தம்மை நம்புகிறவர்களை ஏமாற்றித் துரோகம் செய்வது, அந்த மகா பாவங்களுக்கும் மேலான பாதகர்களாக அவர்களை ஆக்குகின்றது.

  Those who commit the five kinds of great sin, and who besides that put on a false garb as though they were true jnanis and betray the people who trust them, are made by this into wrongdoers worse than those great sins themselves.

  அப்படி ஐந்து வகையான மகா பாவங்களுக்கும் மேலான பாவங்களைச் செய்பவர்களைப் பார்த்து, மற்றவர்களும் அந்தப் பாவங்களைக் கடைப்பிடித்து விடாதபடி, அந்த நாட்டை ஆளுகின்ற அரசன் அந்தப் பஞ்ச மகா துரோகிகளுக்கு மிகவும் கொடுமையான தண்டனையைக் கொடுக்க வேண்டும்.

  So that others who see those who commit sins worse than the five kinds of great sin do not take up the same sins, the king who rules that land must give these five-fold great traitors a most severe punishment.

  தங்களுடைய புண்ணியமான நாட்டை விட்டு அவர்களை விலக்கி வைத்து வேறு இடத்திற்குப் போகும்படி கொண்டு சென்று விடாமல் இருந்தால்,

  If he does not put them out of his own land of merit and send them away elsewhere,

  அவர்களுடைய புண்ணிய நாடு பஞ்சத்தில் அகப்பட்டுக் கொண்டு முழுவதும் பாழாகப் போய்விடும்.

  then that land of merit will be caught in famine and will be laid waste from end to end.
