  மாயையாகிய மயக்கம் இல்லாமல், ஆணவம் கன்மம் ஆகிய மலங்கள் இல்லாமல், வலிமையான எண்ணங்களை உடைய மனம் இல்லாமல்,

  Without the bewilderment that is maya, without the impurities that are anavam and kanmam, and without a mind of forceful thoughts,

  எப்போதும் விழிப்போடு இருக்கின்ற கண்களைப் பெற்று இருந்தாலும், அந்தக் கண்களில் காணும் காட்சியின் தொடர்போ, அந்தக் காட்சியினால் செயல்படும் ஆற்றலின் தொடர்போ இல்லாமல்,

  and though they have eyes that stay always awake, without any hold from what those eyes see and without any hold from the power that acts upon what is seen,

  எவ்விதக் குணங்களும் இல்லாத இறைவனோடு சேர்ந்து, தாமும் இறைவனைப் போலவே ஆகி,

  joined with God, who has no qualities of any kind, and having become like God themselves,

  எந்தவிதமான செயல்களும் இல்லாமல் இருப்பவர்களே, உண்மையான சிவ வேடத்தைக் கொண்ட ஞானிகள் ஆவார்கள்.

  those who remain without any act at all are the jnanis who bear the true garb of Siva.
