  தான் யார் என்பதை அறிந்து கொண்ட தன்மையும், தாமே சிவ பரம்பொருளாக ஆகி இருக்கின்ற தன்மையும்,

  Having come to know who one is, and having become the supreme being that is Siva oneself,

  தங்களைத் தவிர உலகத்தில் இருக்கின்ற அனைத்தும், நிகழ்கின்ற அனைத்தும் அந்த மூலப் பரம்பொருளாகிய சிவமாகவே இருக்கின்ற தன்மையும்,

  and the nature by which everything in the world apart from oneself, and everything that happens in it, is that same root supreme being, Sivam,

  தாம் வீற்றிருக்கின்ற சாதகத்தின் நிலையையே முத்திரையாக இறைவனுக்கு அர்ப்பணிக்கின்ற தன்மையும்,

  and the offering to God, as a seal, of the very state of practice in which one is seated,

  மனம் பேச்சு செயல் ஆகிய மூன்றும் அடங்கி இருக்கின்ற மோன நிலையில் வீற்றிருக்கின்ற தன்மையும் ஆகிய இவை அனைத்தும், குரு நாதராக இருக்கின்ற இறைவனுடைய திருவடிகளை அடைந்து முக்தியைப் பெற்ற உண்மையான சிவ ஞானிகளுக்கான அடையாளங்கள் ஆகும்.

  and the abiding in the state of silence in which mind, speech and act are all three stilled: all these are the marks of the true Sivajnanis who have reached the sacred feet of God, who is the master and guru, and have gained liberation.
