  உண்மையான ஞானத்தைக் கொண்டு இறைவனின் அடியவர்களாக இருக்கின்ற ஞானிகளே அடியவர்கள் ஆவார்கள்; அப்படி இல்லாதவர்கள் அடியவர்கள் அல்லர்.

  Only those jnanis who hold true wisdom and stand as the servants of God are servants indeed; those who are not so are not servants.

  அவர்கள் அடியவர்களாகவும் ஆக மாட்டார்கள்; அவர்கள் போடுகின்ற பொய்யான வேடங்களும் உண்மையான அடியாருக்கான வேடமாக இருக்காது.

  They will never become servants either, and the false garbs they put on will never be the garb of a true servant.

  அடியவர் என்பவர்கள், இறைவனுடைய சிவ ஞானமாக இருக்கின்ற உண்மையான ஞானத்தை இறையருளால் பெற்றவர்கள் ஆவார்கள்.

  Servants are those who have received, by the grace of God, the true wisdom that is the Siva wisdom of God himself.

  அவ்வாறு உண்மையான ஞானம் பெறுவதற்கான எந்தத் தன்மையும் இல்லாதவர்கள் அடியவர்களாக ஆக மாட்டார்கள்.

  Those who have in them no quality at all by which such true wisdom might be received will never become servants.
