  ஆடம்பரமான வாழ்க்கையை வாழ்ந்துகொண்டு, மிகவும் இனிப்பான உணவுகளை உண்ணுகின்றவர்கள், அதற்குத் தேவையான செல்வத்தைத் திரட்டுவதற்காக,

  Those who live a life of display and eat the sweetest food, in order to gather the wealth that such a life needs,

  தவசிகள் போல வேடம் அணிந்துகொண்டு, மற்றவர்களைப் பயமுறுத்தியும், பொய்யான வார்த்தைகளால் மயக்கியும் திரிகின்றார்கள்.

  put on the guise of ascetics and go about frightening others and beguiling them with false words.

  இப்படி வாழ்க்கையை வீணாக்காமல், இறைவன் மேல் உண்மையான அன்பு கொண்டு ஆடியும், அவனது திருப்புகழ்களைப் பாடியும், அழுதும், அவன் காணக் கிடைக்க மாட்டானா என்று புலம்பியும்,

  Rather than wasting a life in this way, take true love for God and dance, and sing his sacred praises, and weep, and cry out asking whether he will not let himself be seen,

  அவன் எங்கு இருக்கின்றான் என்று தேடினால், இறைவனது திருவடிகளைக் காண்பீர்கள்.

  and search for where he is; and you will see the feet of God.
