Drawing out, through one's own austerity, the sword that is the wisdom of God who is the very form of knowing and who stands at the centre of the mind, one should cut away all the bonds of attachment that surround one, cut away as well the duality that holds oneself and God to be two different things, and join with God as one. Just as a single drop of poison let fall into water, however much water there is, turns the whole of it to poison, one should hold back even the smallest desire from entering a mind that is free of desire. If one holds it back so, then in the high state of the austerity one has been doing, one rises through the lights that are the six centres within, and one's own light becomes the very God who is the great light seated at the crown.
