  மனத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கின்ற மாபெரும் கடலாகிய ஏழு விதமான மாயைகளாகிய குற்றங்களும் நீங்கிப் போகும்படி,

  So that the seven kinds of illusion which are the faults that dwell in the mind as a great sea might depart,

  தாம் செய்கின்ற தவத்தில் தகுதி பெற்றவர்கள், தமது தவத்தில் முழுமை பெற்று வந்தார்கள்.

  வாழ்க்கையின் நடுவில் சிக்கிக்கொண்டு தவம் செய்ய முயற்சி செய்கின்றவர்கள், அவ்வாறு வந்தவர்களிடம் அவர்கள் செய்த தொண்டு என்ன விதம் என்பதைக் கேட்டுத் தெளிந்து, அதைக் கடைப்பிடித்துத் தாமும் தவம் புரிந்தால்,
