  சாத்திரங்களைப் படித்துவிட்டு, அவற்றின் பெருமைகளையே பேசித் திரிவதை நீங்கள் விட்டுவிடுங்கள்.

  Give up reading the scriptures and then wandering about speaking only of their greatness.

  ஒரு கண நேரமாவது வெளிநோக்கிச் செல்வதைத் தடுத்து நிறுத்தி, தமக்குள்ளேயே உற்றுப் பாருங்கள்.

  For the space of a single moment, stop the going outward and look closely within yourself.

  அப்படிப் பார்த்த அந்தத் தவப் பார்வை, பசுமையான மரத்தில் அடித்த ஆணி போல உறுதியாக நினைவில் நிலைத்து நிற்கும்.

  That gaze of austerity, once turned so, stands firm in the memory like a nail driven into a green tree.

  அதனால், தம்மைப் போராடச் செய்கின்ற கடினமான பிறவிகள் அனைத்தும் தம்மை விட்டு விலகி ஓடிவிடும்.
