  பிறவி எதற்காக எடுத்து வந்தோம் என்பதை அறியாமல், இந்த உலகத்தில் உயிர் வாழ்வதற்குத் தேவையான பலவற்றைப் பிச்சையாகவே பெற்று வாழ்கின்ற மனிதர்கள் உள்ளனர்.

  There are people who do not know why they came to be born, and who live by receiving as alms the many things needed to stay alive in this world.

  மாயையில் இருப்பதனால், தங்களுடைய உலக வாழ்க்கைக்குச் சிறப்பானது என்று ஆசைப்பட்டு வேண்டிய செல்வத்தையே அவர்கள் இறைவனிடம் கேட்டுப் பெறுகின்றார்கள்.

  Being in illusion, they ask God only for the wealth they have set their hearts on as best for their life in the world, and they receive it.

  ஆனால், இறைவனுடைய திருவருளால் மாயை இல்லாதவராகிய, மாபெரும் தவத்தைச் செய்தவர்கள்,

  But those who by God's grace are free of illusion, who have performed the great tapas,

  இனிப் பிறவி எடுக்கின்ற நிலையையே நீக்கிவிடுகின்ற பெருமையைப் பெற்றவர்கள் ஆவார்கள்.

  have gained the greatness of removing the very condition of being born again.
